2015 Highlights: My Top Moments and Milestones

2015 was a remarkable year for me. I returned to blogging in May and have seen significant growth since then. Opening up in my writing allowed me to share personal parts of my life I would not normally reveal, and I discovered how powerful sincere storytelling can be. Often, the right story is all someone needs. While there were many moments that brightened 2015, here are the highlights I’m comfortable sharing:

  • I welcomed my third daughter early in the year, with moral support and hands-on help from Mr. N. Watching him witness our daughter’s birth was an unforgettable experience that strengthened our bond. I’m truly grateful.
  • I have maintained a consistent blogging schedule since May. Balancing daily life with regular writing was challenging, but I explored many styles—nonfiction, self-help, recipes, investigative pieces, and some that defy easy labels. My voice kept coming through, and that persistence means a lot to me.
  • I launched a beauty consultant business with Mary Kay. Through it I’ve met many wonderful women and learned a great deal about skincare and makeup. The business also gives me a reason to get out of the house regularly, which has been therapeutic.
  • I attended a Moms’ conference that taught me valuable lessons—not only about being a better parent but also about becoming a better person. The insights I gained there have stayed with me.
  • My spiritual life deepened, especially toward the end of the year. I learned to rely more fully on God, and that dependence brought a profound sense of peace. Letting go and letting God has been transformative.

As the final minutes of 2015 passed where I live, I felt immense gratitude for everyone who visited this blog. Your visits, comments, and encouragement mean more than I can express. May you be richly blessed in the year ahead.

Farewell, 2015. Welcome, 2016.
