Everything a steakhouse should be different types of meats, prepared to your liking, good sides and paired with the right beverage. Most of the meat is halal too. They have a Kobe tasting menu which is great to understand the nuances of the different cuts even with melt in your mouth Kobe beef. They also have halal Canadian Wagyu. If you are in the mood for surf a whole Lobster and Fish options are also available. The deserts are good lean on chocolate a little and not too heavy. Service is attentive and ambiance is conversational. Reservations recommended and you may not want to go to another steakhouse again!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at 212 Steakhouse in NYC for a quick birthday dinner with friends and was blown away by the experience. From start to finish, everything was top-notch, from the service to the food to the ambiance. The standout dish of the night was undoubtedly the Australian Wagyu Dry-Aged Bone-In Ribeye 32 oz. for two. This was hands down the best tasting steak I've had in New York, and that's saying a lot. The steak was cooked to absolute perfection - juicy, tender, and packed with flavor. The dry aging process really brought out the rich, beefy flavor of the meat, and the bone-in cut added an extra depth of flavor that made each bite even more delicious. To accompany the steak, we ordered two sides - the Lobster Mac and Cheese and the Brussels Sprouts. Both were excellent, with the Lobster Mac and Cheese being particularly noteworthy. The cheesy, creamy goodness was elevated by the addition of chunks of succulent lobster meat, making it an indulgent and delicious treat. The service at 212 Steakhouse was equally impressive, with attentive and knowledgeable waitstaff who were happy to make recommendations and answer any questions we had. Our water glasses were never empty, and our plates were cleared in a timely manner. Overall, I would give 212 Steakhouse a five-star rating without hesitation. If you're looking for a truly exceptional steakhouse experience in NYC, this is the place to go.

Best steakhouse for halal eaters.. the waiters were more than helpful in explaining the options that are halal or not including sauces, cuts of meat, and mock tails! Lobster Mac and cheese 5/5 outstanding Cesar Salad 5/5 amazing one of the best Truffle mash 5/5 delicious Ribeye steak was juicy and melted in your mouth and it was a big piece of meat! Chocolate soufflé hit the spot as well. Fresh bread and butter to start the meal. Perfect for anniversary’s or special celebrations (or just your average Friday night why not right)

The food and what I had ordered was good over all I would say do not book a reservation so close to closing and also they have an excellent female bartender I wish I remembered her name because her drinks were really great! My friends and I said we were going to go back and give this place a real try ! Oysters were good and fresh, Cesar salad was really good !

Came here last night for an anniversary celebration & gave 3 stars only because the food was tasty. But you guys……the portions are for toddlers. They’re soooooo tiny. We have been to top steakhouses around the city that charge the same price or even more & they give us reasonable portion sizes. You won’t get full off of their portion size unfortunately Honestly, I would say to look elsewhere unless you’re there for dietary restrictions because they do serve halal meat which is a plus. I’m sorry for the blurry photos, they came from screenshots from the video I posted on my IG!

Came to NYC from VA for my first wedding anniversary and ended up going here for dinner. Wife didn't like her Pan Roasted Chicken. The meat hardly had any memorable flavor. I tried the Wagyu Ribeye and it was cooked pretty good (medium rare). The sides and dessert (cheesecake) were good but not great. Total bill for 2 was ~$150. Taste of food was not worth the price, but ambiance and customer service was spot-on.

Hands down one of the best restaurants all around, but especially in NYC. Great atmosphere, very well trained staff, and divine food and drinks. Their 212 premium selection platter for two is the way to go. Worth every single penny. The taste and the quality of the meat is unmatched, literally melts in your mouth. We started with a cheese plate and an arugula salad which were both good portion sizes and so good. For dinner we had the 212 premium selection, roasted brussel sprouts, and lobster mac and cheese... these pictures do not even do it justice. The steak was perfectly medium rare. The brussel sprouts were so flavorful and crispy. And that mac and cheese, served. We ate, and left no crumbs. We also had the chocolate souffle for dessert which was just the cherry on top of a perfect meal. Then had to literally roll ourselves out of there. This place exceeded all of our expectations and we will definitely be dining here again & recommending to everyone!
