5ive Spice Taco & Banh Mi

Cannot fault this branch. I saw this restaurant featured online and I have had their beef short rib locked in my mind since. Finally ordered this dish and it was mouth watering. Melts like butter! Very generous portions as well with TWO juicy lollypops in a piping bowl of soup. The starters were also packed with flavour. Ordered a green mango salad and chicken wings. Both were stunning & generous in portion size. The service was impeccable. The staff were so attentive and polite. The atmosphere is very warm and charming, as the restaurant is laced with homages to Vietnam.

My first pho and Vietnamese cuisine. I order beef short ribs with the soup. The soup comes with the noodles. It is located at the coolest street where there are different cuisines for competition. Its worth the visit. The ambiance is small and decent.

This is a really great spot to get a beautiful bowl of pho or any type of Vietnamese cuisine. I really enjoyed my bowl of the 5ive special and the summer rolls. From what I read on the menu, the broth is slow simmered for 12 hours and you can definitely taste the flavors of that process. The meal was so filling and delicious that I felt completely satisfied after it. This was the meal I didn’t know that I needed. It warms your soul and would be perfect on a cold or rainy day, or any day really. Another surprise was the hidden bathroom behind the bookshelf, which is a really cool feature. I will definitely be back to try the wings and other items on the menu. I highly recommend this spot!

Cool place for Vietnamese food and tacos. Recommend trying the 5ive special, their signature dish. It's pricier compared to the other dishes, but you get to try five different types of beef. Pair it with pork & shrimp tacos for added variety. Note that the restroom here is hidden behind a cabinet filled with plants.

This is my second time here. I just love the ambience here. So quaint and warm. Not too crowded. I was there at the stroke of 12 pm and was literally the first patron. I was there with my girlfriend and we ordered the 5ive Spice Pho,the Rooster Wings and the Viet Tacos (Ground Pork and Shrimp). The food came quickly with the appetizers being served first. We quickly devoured them and the Pho was fantastic. The meat was tender and literally melts in your mouth. You have to give this place a try. But be advised,come early. It fills up very quickly especially on Sundays.

Nice and clean restaurant in Soho, the taste is ok but not my favorite. Mango salad is very refreshing, while the spring roll could have been crispier. Shaking beef is very soft and tender, really recommend this one!

Food was good. Enjoyed the pho broth here, good portion for the noodles (filling). The fries were great! Love the toppings and the dip. The mango salad was fresh and I loved it. However, the service needs improvement. There were like four different servers coming to our table here and there, and I think that caused confusion. My friends and I ordered pho, but they served it separately, which I’m not used to since most restaurants serve the entrees together. It caused confusion since the waiter didn’t know how many we ordered because another waiter took our order. Mine was the last to come, it probably took like 45 minutes. At that point, I didn’t even wanna eat anymore.

One of the best Banh Mi sandwiches in the City. All their dishes are fresh, delicious and TikTok friendly. Service is fast, courteous and efficient. Place is bright and clean. Portions are generous and fairly priced. 5ive Spice is the place to keep going back, again and again.
