Hello everyone—what an eventful week it has been!
I visited the local library for the first time and it felt wonderful. I’ve always loved books, so this was a special moment. The girls joined a story time session and clearly enjoyed every minute. While browsing the shelves I was thrilled to find a book by one of my favorite authors, Ree Drummond.
I also attended a community summer fair. The fair showcased activities planned for the season, and I picked up a lot of useful information and even made a few new contacts. My eldest had a blast in the bounce house and couldn’t stop smiling.
We spent a weekend focused on hair care. I removed old braids, washed their hair, and re-braided it into fresh styles.

My oldest sang at her preschool’s church presentation—her final performance for the school year—and it was so sweet to watch her up on stage.
I’ve shared updates about my healthy eating challenge in previous posts and I continue to focus on better choices and small, sustainable changes.
I’m excited about the week ahead and the plans we have lined up.
How are you doing? I’d love to hear what’s been happening in your life.
