I was staying at the hotel and while at a conference an employee was getting people to sign up for dinner reservations so I thought I would give it a try. It’s beautiful with plenty of seating. It took over 10 minute for anyone to even talk to me. Took another 10-15 to get my drink. I ordered the vegetarian dinner and it was tasty and literally the biggest chunk of broccoli I had ever seen. I finished my drink and dinner and was hoping to have another drink but literally couldn’t get any one’s attention. I finally flagged down my server and asked for a dessert menu. Ordered the feeder to go, but they brought it not to go so I quickly ate it at the table. Took forever to get my check. The service was abysmal for the price of the food. If you are on site I would skip it, there are a ton of places in the area that would take better care of you. I don’t often recommend skipping some place but unless you have a couple of hours to spend waiting on things than you would do better to look elsewhere. The food was good, hence the three stars…but the service and wait times we terrible.
Wow what a treat! Everything from the ambience to the drinks to the food was was absolutely phenomenal. The vibe of the restaurant was very luxurious and spacious. Not like a lot of other restaurants which have as many tables as possible. The drinks were sensational! Had a chance to talk to the bartender for a moment and it was easy to see that he was passionate about his craft and it truly showed. Lastly the food. With prefix meal options and a plethora of amazing options I was shocked with how great of a deal it was. Every course was better than the next! I don’t think this place will stay secret for long.
It is more like 3.5 stars. Great service and vibe. Beautiful mid-century decor. I enjoyed drinks and dessert, not so much the entrees. We had pork tenderloin, ribeye, and halibut. Pork and fish were dry. The medium rare ribeye was more like medium well.
Parking: Parking garage is on first floor right next to build with 2 hours free parking validation. Ambience: Indoor/outdoor fine dining, great for gatherings. Service: The service may be off due to restaurant week as we didn’t get drink 20 minutes into being seated and our food order came late due to order mix up. Food: We ordered the Restaurant Week 3 course Special. Everything was very flavorful and fresh Overall: Great fine dining. I would like to return and see the difference when there’s no promotion going on. It was very unorganized that night.
The place is marvelous, and the waiters are really nice. The food is allright, I don't think the flavor is as good for the price. I was here for new years, it was a mess: appetizers were in a buffet kind of thing, but the dishes were missing the creams or panna cotta the menu said. We had to ask for them, and it would take forever for us to get served such additions. 3/5.
Christmas dinner done right at Arlo! Husband and I split everything (1 Christmas prefixed menu, 1 Regular prefixed menu) Nice ambiance, and good food too. From Christmas Menu: PUMPKIN SPICED GNOCCHI (with Smoked Prosciutto, Butternut Squash Cream, Pomegranate Seed) was lovely. Soft gnocchi and flavorful sauce. Portion size was a bit small and we wanted more! DUCK TWO WAYS (asked for only Roasted Breast instead of breast + Confit Leg) with Yukon Potato, Napa Cabbage, Mulled Wine Sauce Duck was cooked perfectly well! A little pink to look at, but definitely done well. The sauce and cabbage was DELICIOUS! Sauce and duck and cabbage was amazing too. GINGERBREAD CAKE came with poached Sugar Plum, Lemon Buttercream, but we had it together with the Crème Brûlée from the regular prefixed menu. Gingerbread flavor was just strong enough, and not super sweet. A good Christmas dessert. From Regular Menu: PULPO & PASSION (Spanish Octopus, Coconut Panna Cotta, Espelette Glaze, Watercress) One of their popular items, and I can see why! Amazing flavor combination. Perfectly cooked octopus, real flavor bomb with all the components there. A sweet and savory game going on, but we loved it! WAGYU COULOTTE (with Santa Maria Chimichurri, Grilled Swiss Chard, Yukon Parsnip Gratin) Husband ate this one, but I tried. Beef was soft and tender and perfect cooked. Not too chewy, and not super fatty where it melts in your mouth. A good cut. Chard was okay, but the Gratin was lovely. SMOKED DULCE DE LECHE CRÈME BRÛLÉE (with Macerated Berries, Mace Whip Cream) What a beauty! A really really good Crème Brûlée here. We both loved it and wanted more! Crack on top was perfect, texture and sweetness spot on. Loved it!
Had the morning grilled peach parfait and it was fabulous! David the bartrnder is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Excited to come in the evening. Fire area. ? 2 bars Corn Hole
Great atmosphere, service and also delicious food, although a little bit too heavy on the meats and not enough veggies in my opinion. The cocktails are well done and generous! The picture is the Maple Leaf Duck.
