Malaysian eatery with a traditional menu. Traditional Malaysian fare served in a relaxed, tropical-themed space with a BYOB policy.
The service was good and the person who served us was nice. The only issue I had was that the chicken wings I got as an appetizer wasn't fully cooked. When I told the server she was nice about it and had them make a new one. The rest of the good was very good and I enjoyed it a lot. I would have given it 4 stars in the chicken had been cooked properly the first time. With all that said I would still go back and give it another try because I did enjoy the other dishes I ordered.
1. They have a very different atmosphere and food. I don't know the real taste of Malaysian cuisine but this was certainly different in a good way. 2. The they don't have a lot of vegetarian options but they have enough. 3. Their beverage was VERY sweet. Like incredibly sweet. I would avoid it if you're not a sweet tooth. I like sweet stuff and I thought it was too sweet. But it was delicious. 4. Their food was tasty don't get me wrong. For non-vegetarians this place is even better. The group I came with ordered a lot of meat dishes and they liked it a lot. Definitely worth checking out. Might take a couple of visits to dial in your order for sure.
Ate here for the first time on Friday night, I really enjoyed my experience here. The staff were friendly and attentive. We got our orders quickly and everything was delicious. I really liked the pad Thai sauce on the chicken. Our favorite dish was definitely the meat skewers with peanut sauce. Overall a great experience. Will definitely be returning!
Holy smokes this place is the best. Service is always so friendly. The food is amazing. You can't go wrong here. The star of the show was the fried pork chop salt, pepper and chili seasoning. The dishes does not come a side of rice, but that means you just get to order a delicious fried rice instead. The restaurant also felt very clean. They could also host a large group very easily.
Delicious food and very fast service! The waitress was great too — we initially ordered four bowls of rice and she told us that we should get less for now because we had a noodle dish and we could see how we felt later. Appreciate that a lot! Two of our party were familiar with Malaysian cuisine and both loved it. One was a newcomer and also loved it. Apps and food put us at less than 25 per person
I've been wanting to visit here for awhile and was it ever worth it! Great customer service, many options, even for plant based eaters. I had the red clay pot coconut curry and the flavor was insane. The fried rice was so full of life, I had to order another plate. I felt that I had returned to SouthEast asia... highly recommended!
Very friendly staff. The roti canai and beef satay tasted like the ones I had in Malaysia. The char keow teow was decent. The beef rendang could be spicier as well as the sambal shrimp. I love that it's BYOB. I would have been happy if I just had roti canai and satay with the beer and wine we brought. Mental note for next time. There is a 3.95% charge if you pay by credit card.
One day I had a taste for Malaysian food and went to this place. I've ordered from this place before through Uber Eats and they were always good. I did however ended up ordering hainanese chicken this time which isn't Malaysian but nevertheless it was good. However, the service wasn't particularly good. Right after I ordered, the server took my menu while I was still looking at it instead of asking if I need anything else which is pretty basic in a restaurant. They do have Apple pay which gives them back one star. I can recommend this place if you want Malaysian food.
