Colorful cafe serving Taiwanese gua bao. Extensive Taiwanese gua bao menu dished up in a bright cafeteria that has outdoor seats.
Super tasty baos! The prime time and the crispy chick are my favorites. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I just wish they offered other brands for sparkling water instead of the one they sell. The place is highly recommended and a great option for a casual light meal.
Such a cute concept, merging Taiwanese BAOS + street food & modern ingredients & western flavors Whether it's the short rib, crispy buffalo chicken, Asian sticky teriyaki chicken or the beef noodle bowl, I felt the taste was bomb We ordered the flight of 3 for $15 . And there's more appetizers we didn't order too!
Was my first time trying Bao. Very tasty. I loved the fusion of western flavors with this type of traditional food. Will visit again when I'm back in town. The location was very clean and inviting and the staff friendly.
Absolutely fantastic, my wife tried the crispy chick and absolutely loved it she said it was and I quote "perfectly balanced and the chickens breading was mind blowing" so over all she declared these buns a winner! I tried the bao boa gotta love the pun involved in naming that one. who ever came up with it should take a bao, but it was fantastic, the house truffle wiz really tied the entire bite together! I also ate the prime time and that one was just as mouthwatering as the other. overall, this place was amazing clean, fast and the staff was fantastic friendly and warm and very helpful! We will definitely stop by again if we're ever in the area!
I always enjoy the food from Bao Nine! They have great baos, cool flavors, and the buns are very soft. Whenever I don't want to cook dinner, I order takeout from them.
Worth a try if you are in the mood for bao. I liked the menu options, has something for everyone! A little pricey for a fast-casual spot and it did take awhile to get our food even though we were the only ones in there! Still enjoyed it, would visit again.
The Bao's were really good, I liked that they had such variety.. the only thing I would say negative is that the bao buns are little thicker than other's I've tried.. but all in all very tasty!
Went in on a random food exploration tour of old city and were pleasantly surprised by the tasty baos. Not every place can nail the super soft baos , but they have perfected it . We tried all the chicken variants and one shrimp one. The fillings were really good especially the sticky clucky and the one with the teriyaki chicken. The only regret I have is we had just one for each of us ?. Definitely plan to order at least two for each as I’m sure you can’t stop at one. Cheers and happy eating.
