I can only highly recommend this fantastic venue in the King William district. It is really the place one can have a fantastic time. In our case, a small networking event around a table with awesome drinks. The food was equally scrumptious: The pork belly simply melted in my Mouth, and the Mac&Cheese was just perfect! The interior is really a superb combination of colors and cozy vibes. Our waitress Kassandra was really lovely and her good and kind mood contagious!
I cannot say enough good things about this place. From the servers, the bartenders, the hosts, and the management - this is just an awesome place, atmosphere, and dining experience all around. I was in San Antonio for work for 6 days and dined here 3 times. Highly recommend the Dope As Me cocktail, Brussel Sprouts, and Lamb Chops. If you live in the area, this should be a regular on your restaurant rotation list. If you're visiting, I highly suggest you stop in!
Discovering bar Loretta was a great way to start our visit to San Antonio. We enjoyed meals prepared by a San Antonio top-rated chef, starting with Cumin Dusted Rock Shrimp followed by Seared Salmon Tinga & Peppered Beef Tenderloin. NOTE: Leave room for one of the fabulous desserts, they're delicious The place is trendy & was full, ambiance was busy, friendly, welcoming & relaxing, & our server Ricardo was knowledgeable, interesting, efficient & friendly. Loved the background music & felt for a moment as if we were back in Italy at a sidewalk bistro in Rome. Loved this place & will definitely recommend it to others.
Wow, this is amazing, no exaggeration. Everything was delicious, the drinks were very good. Went on a Saturday evening, so the atmosphere was very much like a bar, nice and relaxed. Our waitress was also very nice, overall the best restaurant I’ve been to post-Covid.
It’s was our first time here. We were greeted right away and sat promptly because of our reservation. The ambiance, deco, vibe and music makes this experience unforgettable. The food is delicious as well. They are well known for their famous polenta. We order the beet salad as second course, and pork chops paired with sweet potato mash. The service was excellent as well. The only problem is that tables are placed really closed to each other and it gets crowded really easy. Not suitable for claustrophobics. Definitely coming back but not during rush hour. Well done!
Enjoyed a delicious meal at Bar Loretta. It was our 1st experience and our server, Amber, took good care of us. We enjoyed a Como Cuando & Junebug to start and then straight to entrees. The Tomatillo Shrimp and the tenderloin were fantastic & very filling. We look forward to our next trip there.
INCREDIBLE! Probably one of the top 3 meals I've had in Texas! Started out with three appetizers that were recommended by the owner that actually came by and visited our table. Polenta was amazing, chicken livers were perfectly prepared with an incredible sauce, and the tater tots with caviar left me with a loss for words. I had an old-fashioned but my other guests tried to of the 9 signature Manhattan's featured on their drink menu. My other two guests had the quinoa and the salmon. The crispiness of the salmon was to die for! I elected for the beef tenderloin cooked rare +. It absolutely did not disappoint! The meal was capped off by two desserts both of which were scrumptious! The entire meal had all of the sophistication of a Michelin star restaurant in New York city, but the comfort of a neighborhood restaurant on downtown SA! If you fancy yourself a foodie, or you just want to have a good meal with a great atmosphere, you CANNOT pass this place up! Tell Roger Nick sent you! Cheers!
The bar and restaurant have a classy and casual vibe. The service is excellent, from the bartenders to wait staff to management. The food is thoughtful and excellent! We will definitely be back.
