It's always a good sign when I walk into a place filled with regulars. The owner happened to be there when I walked in and offered me a boysenberry square and it was absolutely delicious. A regular sat down next to me at the counter and recommended Grandma Jennie's fluffy pancakes and the Western omelette. I ended up going with the California eggs benedict, a traditional favorite of mine with bacon, tomato, and avocado. I'll definitely be going back.

Friendly and nice staff. Filled up our drinks several times. Bacon was cooked perfectly. First time here and glad we came.

My husband and I ordered the Ka-Ya-Na and it was so good! It was also nice to get a cup of coffee as soon as we sat down. Our server checked in with us regularly to see if we needed anything even though the place is busy. We’ll definitely come back here if we are ever in the area.

Home cooking done right. Excellent hash browns and the grandma Jennie's pancakes are incredible. I like it that they don't salt the eggs. I also love their huevos rancheros, which are in a spicy, green sauce. Friendly staff in a casual neighborhood eatery.

Awesome food, awesome staff, and awesome atmosphere! Coffee always checked on and filled. Will definitely be back tomorrow# just look at the pictures ?

I'm from New England where family restaurants and good breakfast is abundant. I have my favorite spot back home, but while living here in SD Brothers Family Restaurant I feel fills that spot for me while living here. From the coffee to the food to the welcoming staff. Feels like I'm sitting down for a Family breakfast. And if my review doesn't do this place justice then this will. Any restaurant that specializes in breakfast/Lunch that closes at 2pm daily, just goes to show that that's their staple and you better come in before close if you want quality food.

This is my 2nd time visiting this place. I enjoy how friendly the staff is. They are extremely knowledgeable about the food for first time visitors. The servers always greet people with a smile. 2nd time there, I was expecting a wait, but was immediately sat down because party of one. Love the mimosas. The server even informed me the wait time after ordering which I completely understood. The menu has too many choices and it was hard to choose.
