Bungalow Downtown Dining

This is a very aesthetically pleasing upscale restaurant. The highlight from my dining experience was the EXCELLENT services I received from start to finish. The waiter I had made me feel like VIP the entire night. They were so polite, courteous and so kind. Everything we tried on the menu was very tasty and delicious. Would highly recommend and will definitely return.

Had reservations here for date night. 2 stars for the ambiance and our waiter. They give champagne when you first walk in, however we weren’t offered any. We had to wait for our table to be cleared and set, however there were no utensils or napkins there. We asked for both but only got utensils, no napkins for the entire duration of our meal. It’s a beautiful restaurant, however, the food and drinks are mediocre. They look better than they taste. The calamari ($21) had no flavor, which is strange. I enjoy a sweet drink, however the Heartbreaker cocktail ($18) is all sugar, I had to send it back. The Cabernet was good though. The entrees do not come with sides; I ordered the apricot chicken ($32) which was small and dry even though it was covered in sauce, and the lobster Mac and cheese ($33) which was better and you get a decent amount of it. I won’t return unless their food quality improves — could definitely find better food for better price elsewhere.

Beautiful restaurant..loved the touch of champagne upon entry. Drinks were pricey but strong. The shrimp appetizer was delicious and so was the bread pudding. Service was very attentive as well and I even got a call the next day asking me about my experience.

Very beautiful establishment! Great customer service. Food was good as well. I had no complaints. Pricing was reasonable but the gratuity is 20% for a party of 6 or more. So it can get a bit expensive. Overall everyone enjoyed the food and ambiance. I'd go back again but this time just me and the spouse. My kiddos dis attend but they don't have a kids menu.

Had friends visiting in Houston and we decided this would be one of our fine dine for the weekend. The atmosphere was very nice. Very cozy receive it was nice decent. We had a great time. I actually enjoy ourselves. The van service very sweet, the drinks for us OK, the food was good. But most of all I we just had a good time hanging out the environment was nice..

Went last night and thoroughly enjoyed it. From the doorman greeting us as we entered to the lovely hostesses handing us some champagne. The ambiance was sexy and the decor phenomenal. Can’t wait to return. Job well done Bungalow?? And can’t forget Corey our waiter! Very charming and attentive.

Our server was gabbi and she was amazing but we also loved the rest of the staff, Kim and Zion! Kim brought us a free dessert because it was my birthday! And Zion tried to help us find a candle and they were both so sweet! Kim’s energy was off the charts and she talked to us for a while and stopped by the table to check on us and we weren’t even her customers. The entire staff is really just amazing! We talked to so many of the staff members and the manager and I was honestly so impressed with the quality of food and the service me and my friend received. 10/10 highly recommended

Upscale dining and really enjoyed our 20 yr anniversary dinner here at Bungalows. The wait staff was really attentive and food was delicious. Kim our waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu items and we never had to call for her. I ordered the whole snapper, sides can feed 2 persons. Located on Main St with the Metrorail so parking($20) is directly adjacent as there is no valet but super close. Remember to make reservations like we did as this place stays packed so you don’t experience a long wait.
