This restaurant is beautiful… the atmosphere, the staff, and the food. The food was beautiful plated, so fresh and just absolutely delicious. Our server was so friendly, and welcoming. I will definitely be back again and again!
This is an authentic Iraqi restaurant, down to the theme. Inside, the theme is old Iraqi neighborhoods. The owner had lived in Iraq, and it gave me a memory of home. The writing, the map, the little decorations. There is live music during the weekends. They do serve drinks, have seating for families, and the bathrooms are clean and available on both sides. Parking is good too. The food is authentic, well cooked, and the service goes above and beyond suggesting food and how well to cook the meat. Quantity is massive for the price. The tea is made well too, not bitter. I highly highly recommend this place if you enjoy authentic Arabic/Iraqi food with an experience.
This was AMAZING! It was the only place close to us open at 10pm. We paid $20 for the Caroun mix and it was absolutely delicious! The ground beef threw us off when we ordered but it was the best thing on the plate! The portion was huuuuge (pic included). 5 stars and will definitely be coming back.
Felt like eating something fresh and out of my ordinary food. So I looked up middle eastern food and this was the closest and top rated. Once we arrived the place is nice and elegant and we were greeted. The service was prompt and they had good music. I ordered the Chicken shawarma and the other plate was falafel. Great portions.. had left overs! Everything was fresh and delicious. Great spot to host a small party.
This place was amazing. I've had sub par Middle Eastern food, but this place was not one of them. You can tell they make everything fresh and it was delicious. The pita wasn't from Costco like some other Mediterranean restaurants that I've been to.
Definitely my favorite restaurant from now on . I live in San Francisco, Bay Area and you can never get this auethentic food over there . It was a great experience, strongly recommend!!! And Ibrahim was a great guy , really frinendly.
I have been to this restaurant on 08/30 late afternoon & placed an takeout order for “veggie plate” & it took around 25-30 minutes(longtime) for my order. The pita bread was very dry(disappointing) as you can see in the picture, I like the garlic sauce, hummus was not bad and rest everything taste okay. I like the vibes inside it’s good for dine in with cozy atmosphere & the staff was good.
When you visit a Mediterranean restaurant you expect nothing but the best of their rich flavors. Caroun Restaurant is exceptional in that their food is not only exquisite in Mediterranean flavors, but also superior in quality. For example, the mouthwatering portions of finely cooked Baba Ghanoush, unburnt and just rightly cooked matches no other restaurant and is a pride. All food that we ordered was amazing quality and portions. From the kabob BBQ, lamb shank, falafel, beef shawarma, tabouleh, doulma, and chicken fried steak the taste excelled too far. The Mediterranean specialty was something of a feat and we all could not remark how great the food and service was.
