Chart House

Went on Friday night for our anniversary. We made reservations a few weeks ahead. The outside and surrounding area were beautiful, right on the water. There was no wait. We were seated with a great view. Our waiter was really nice and professional. We were a little hesitant after reading some of the reviews as they were saying the food took really long to come out. We started off with 2 Vodka & Cranberry, which were decently priced and pretty well made. We ordered our entrees, and they were out in about 15 minutes. The presentation was nice, but the food was lukewarm.. For this to be a high-end restaurant, I would expect hot food, especially at the prices they charge. Everything tasted good, but it was not hot at all. The atmosphere was really nice though which kind of made up for the food. I probably wouldn't return. But the pictures we took were great!

The food was great, good vibe,weather was a little better. How bout putting Vegan selections on the Menu, My son ordered all sizes, Pasta, Sticky Rice and Brocolli. Just a thought because Vegan is so popular now days.?

I wanna start off by saying our waitress outside on the deck was awesome and handled a ton of tables on her own! Our drinks & app were good but we ordered a medium rare prime rib for an entree & were given one that was well done (pic for reference) We didn’t ask for a new one because we had been there so long we just wanted to leave. Expect long wait times, our waitress had a ton of tables and was great so no blame on her but the short staff definitely seems to be an issue.

Disappointing experience. I had seen that wait times were an issue through reviews, however, I did not expect to wait nearly an hour for food. We had to ask 3 times to get water. Forks were dirty and had to be changed. When the manager asked us if we were fine we said yes but that we had been waiting a while. His response was "it will come". When we finally got the food it was okey but not great. In terms of what we paid probably not exactly worth it.

This was our first time in this location. I had a fantastic time for my birthday in 2019 at the NJ location, and last night in this Philadephia location was just as magical. Our server was professional and so down to earth at the same time.  The view of the harbor was beautiful, the food was so good. I truly enjoyed my birthday last night, and would recommend anyone to come here.

A nice romantic spot on the water in Philly. Started with the coconut shrimp. It came with 3 sauces. A chili sauce, coconut and then a soy based sauce. All three were flavorful. I had the Mahi that cam with Mango rice and Asian green beans. The Mahi has a Thai peanut sauce that was rich and flavorful. Definitely heavy on the peanut flavor, but paired well with the green beans and rice. My husband had the lemon & herb crusted Salmon. It was decent, lacked a bit on the lemon flavor. The cocktails were good and the chocolate lava cake was delicious. Rich chocolate cake served with vanilla ice cream. Overall this was a great spot to try. Service was excellent and the restaurant was clean.

Waitress was lovely, service was quick and efficient. View was amazing. Food was lacking. Unfortunately they were short staffed, but, the waitress did great at waiting tables and bartending.

Nice views very good food. Just different from the one I visited in San Antonio. The waitress wasn't warm and as friendly, as what I am use too at an expensive restaurant as the Chart House.
