Traveling a bit for work when I had the opportunity to stop by this wonderful establishment. Nice people vibe for some tasty food and cold drinks. Staff is awesome. Truffle fries were delicious and the onion rings were crispy, but my lemon peppercould have use a tad more seasoning. Overall well worth a visit
This past Sunday I decided to stop by and try Conroy’s Pub. I am so glad that I did! Sunday I came in the evening and I had a Tall DosXX and their Philly cheesesteak sandwich. So good! Today I stopped by and had lunch and I tried their Cheeseburger, 1/2 lb of tasty perfection!! And of course the cold DosXX never disappoints!! The atmosphere is very casual and relaxed everyone is very friendly and the staff is very attentive and friendly as well!! My new spot for that chill and have a cold drink and some good food for sure!
Must say, this place has the best buffalo wings around these parts. I was surprised when someone told me but I went to try them myself and sure enough they were top notch. The rest of the menu is pretty good too, the service is great and it feels like an old School Irish pub, which is hard to find these days. We were here on New Years Eve and had a blast with the live band and champagne. I’d recommend for a quick beer and chat.
Great service! Enjoyed the shrimp jalapeño cheese grits. Definitely not Cajun style but oh so delicious.
We love this local spot. Favorite place to stop and have a drink or watch a football game. Bar tenders are always very nice and can manage the bar well. The food is very good too. It’s not bar food, it’s better! There hasn’t been a meal we haven’t liked. Overall great vibe, great music, and nice locals.
Food is always good here, tastes fresh and straight off the grill. Beer is good, premium cocktails good. Prices are too high for the burgers though, starting at 14 and add-ons from cheese and bacon to avocado will start looking like $20-$25 burger in no time. Although it's good, the price ratio is unsatisfactory. Patrons are great, bar is clean but bathrooms are seriously lacking cleanliness. What I find ridiculous is the 4% charge for debit/credit card, it is clear they itemized every single thing at this place since the change in ownership. Overall, still had a positive time here, they can definitely improve though.
Nice quite atmosphere, decent service at the bar. Have been in there several times before when in that side of town to have drinks. Decided to eat for the first time there. Ordered the Grandma's meatloaf. What a mess! Mashed potatoes were slapped on some kind of red sauce over the whole plate, green beans were spread over mash potatoes, and meatloaf put on top of the green beans with what they claim was a brown gravy, that looked like chocolate pudding, spread over the top of everything. Disgusting! Most people would like to taste their food individually. Two bites and I was done. No flavor at all. Management was also rude that came out later and asked out loud in front of all customers across the bar (who had the bad meatloaf) in a very aggressive manner as though I had no right criticizing their food. Didn't even come and ask what my discomfort was about. My opinion, the manager should be fired. Not a people person. Asked my buddy who had a club sandwich and he said it was ok but not the best he's had. They seemed concerned with the presentation on the plate than the actual taste of their food.
The spot has a great feel and very clean restrooms. Bartenders were a bit slow to get to me. Some food options available. I recommend this spot if you want something laid back.
