American chain eatery & general store. Homey chain restaurant serving American comfort food, with an on-site general store.
The food was amazing, however, the service was a little lacking. Our server may have been spread a little thin today, maybe that contributed to the lack of friendliness. Nonetheless, he was still quick and attentive. For me the whole vibe of the restaurant was just a little off. The food was still great and I highly recommend it.
This was my first time going to this location but it also felt like a homecoming for me. The last time I went to a Cracker Barrel was back in 2012. I forgot how friendly the atmosphere is and the really cool shop out front where you can buy all kinds of things including vintage sodas, vintage candy and what not. As for food, I had the chicken pot pie and it was the best I have ever had of that dish. Flaky and golden crust, large chunks of chicken, lots of veggies inside and cream. I was expecting a portion of the pie but instead they brought me my own personal whole pot pie! Freaking awesome. The service was great and the staff was very friendly and knew what they were doing. The only downside I have and the reason for the 4 stars on the food was that their cornbread had a very unsavory after taste. It was almost as if something had been left out. Other than that, the food was great and the place was great too.
Great food, great service. I highly recommend ordering the country boy breakfast, you get to choose your meat and sides but I'll tell you specifically what I ordered so you can try it as well! Hope you have a big appetite because this breakfast ain't for the weak. I ordered the country boy breakfast, My choice of meat was a sirloin steak and it comes with 3 eggs (I get mine over easy, perfect every time) then you get a choice of 2 sides. So I get the Hasbrown casserole and I substitute one of the sides for pancakes (you get 2 pancakes). The pancakes are only $1.99 for you to substitute a side. Not bad at all if you ask me. AND you get a basket or freshly made biscuits that come with a side of gravy && grape, strawberry and blackberry jelly and butter. I'm telling you this will be your go to breakfast plate! You gotta give it a try... In my opinion it's not only cheaper in price than IHOP but the portions are bigger the food is heartier and it's way more delicious but again this is just my opinion but very well worth a try ! If you do decide to try my go to plate I truly hope you enjoy your meal. God bless you!!
Billy was so thoughtful. I ordered my eggs fried well done (hard) but they arrived runny. I didn't make a fuss. But Billy noticed and even though I told him I would just eat around the runny parts, he brought me more eggs, perfectly cooked!
My mother and I dined here recently. There was a bit of a wait time , yet I was perfectly ? content because it is such fun looking at EVERTHING in the General Store ?. We had this absolutely wonderful server named ( I believe) Melody or perhaps Melonie. She was kind , patient and so attentive despite her having so many tables! Definitely visit this location !!!! Plus, she could tell I was not happy with one of my sides and was promt in getting me something different! I highly recommend the trout !
We had an amazing experience on 08-08-22. Our chicken fried steak dinner was great and not to mention the service provided. Stephanie was our waitress and she was so courteous and kind . At all times, she was ✔ up on us. After a long day, our Monday ended great!?
First time at the restaurant ever. I have to say the food was delicious and the staff was pretty good. Definitely a busy place. Just know u might have to wait for a table but overall it was good.
Always a good place to eat homestyle cooking. Breakfast all day long. Lunch and dinner menu is varied and portions are large. Biscuits or corn bread muffins to accompany your meal. Non-stop tea or coffee. Staff is friendly. The store is well stocked with seasonal and year long items. Plenty collectible items. The sanitary facilities and maintained clean and stocked. Good place to make a stop on your trip, or a meal to share with family and friends. Enjoy.
