One of my co-workers showed me this place. I have dine here few time since then, and each time was a great experience. Amazing Korean cuisine, friendly environment and service? It was a bit hard to find the location at first but worth it. Definitely coming back when I get the chance ? FYI: This is located in the first floor of HEB Cypress Tower. The entrance to the HEB Cypress Tower is facing Ogden St.
Hands Down the best Korean food in SA. I was in awe how good everything was presented and tasted. They even start the table with a complimentary pancake per guest , I think called "pajun" omg it was terrific. I ordered the chicken gangjeong. It was covered in peanut pieces . The chicken fried to perfection, sauce was outstanding. The service was perfect . Kudos to the food server she was running all the tables and was streamlining the whole process, cashing people out and getting everyone situated. Wow. I know servers who get in the weeds with 2 tables ? this place is a must try. Free parking in the back lot directly across the street from cypress tower
What a hidden gem! This the best Korean food I've had in San Antonio and it is hidden away inside the lowest floor of Cypress Tower. Look for the Cypress Tower if you want amazing Korean cuisine.
This is the best Korean meal I've had yet! Cypress Cafe should be a a MUCH bigger name than it is and should have a line out the door. The problem is finding it. They are located in the basement of the office tower. Parking is weird, but park across the street or in the street if possible and walk into the basement. You can also check in with the extensive outdoor security guards. It really is a hassle to visit, but please do. They're delicious, and I couldn't possibly pick a favorite dish because everything is so perfectly prepared!
I've eaten here so many times I've lost count and I should've given them a 5-star review long ago. The food is exceptional, and it is quite difficult to find a good Korean restaurant in San Antonio. It's authentic, flavorful, and there's something on the menu for Korean food enthusiasts and newcomers alike. But most of all, the service is the best. Mimi is legitimately the nicest person on Earth, and her husband does an incredible job cooking in the back. They run the restaurant together and have no other employees. Adorable couple and wonderful souls.
Went for the first time. The place is a hidden gem. It is small enough to be called a "kitchen". It was immaculate, and light and airy. Ordered the beef bi bim bap. It was excellent and had plenty of beef and vegetables. The ban chan was "just right" - a couple of bites each of broccoli, potatoes, zucchini, and kimchi. I will definitely be back. Not sure whether I'll be getting the bulgogi or the shrimp Korean pancake. When I left, I struck up a conversation with the security guard. He informed me the place has an excellent breakfast and to be sure to try the waffles.
100% Authentic Korean cuisine at affordable prices! Something for everyone to enjoy, right at the heart of H.E.B headquarters. If you're along the strip, or visiting a loved one at the nearby hospital and craving a little spice, this place is always nice, ready to cater to your appetite! ?
Well hidden gems. Food is very good. I love the spicy tofu and beef bulgogi. The restaurant is inside the HEB building. Enter from the east side door and go straight 60 yard in, the restaurant is on the right. Very affordable and tasty. Would come back again
