Classic American eats with a ’50s vibe. Slick take on a 1950s-style diner serving a basic menu of burgers, hot dogs & fries.
I had the pleasure of visiting this little restaurant. It may not look like it from the outside but on the inside has a classic dinner vibe. From the bright red sitting booths to the jukebox playing music. I had gotten some waffles and they were pretty good to be from a burger joint. I would definitely recommend and would visit again.
Amazing combos and delicious milkshakes! I love their seasoned fries and dining area is pretty laid back giving you 1950 vibes. They even have a cool juke box at the entrance ?
I came to Dtown Burger for the 1st time today. I have always seen it passing by . I have always been on my way to . Some place in a hurry , so I never had the time to try this place. Well today I had time . I also had extreme munchies. From dabbing and blazing all day . Chilling with my boys on Spring Steet in beautiful Downtown LA. I was craving a burger. I came here and I'm very happy. It's not too pricey, as for Downtown LA prices go . This place isn't to bad . I ordered the # 2 a double cheese burger, fries , and a drink. The fries are pretty good. Nice , seasoned , and great temperature. They tasted so good. The double cheese burger. Was bomb everything went together perfectly. The cheese, the meat, even the bun was warm and buttery. Dtown Burger was about 4 dollars cheaper. Then the other spot down the street. The other place I was very disappointed. Dtown blew them out the water. For less money too . If you're in Downtown on Spring street and the munchies kick in . Come try a great cheese burger at Dtown. I was very happy with the food ? come give them a try.
Always pleased with the quality of food. My normal order is the #1 combo...burger/fries, but I sometimes stray and order breakfast. Give this place a try. Friendly great service. Very much a neighborhood staple!
Firstly, I hate giving a place I'm trying for the first time a bad review, but I don't see any other way around this one. I've been by this little diner many times and today I decided to treat myself since I had to catch the bus right outside. I already knew I wanted a burger basic so I got the double burger combo to go. I only live about 5 blocks down from where I purchased my food so it only took a few minutes to get back. The fries were the worst I've ever gotten from a restaurant. It was a fairly large order, but I ended up tossing over half because they just weren't edible. They were hard and very dark with lots of bits and pieces like from the bottom of the bag. Sadly, if I'm not impressed on the first try I generally won't go back. $11.50 for the meal and I don't feel like I got my money's worth. They should maybe switch to crinkle cut fries and maybe change the fryer grease more often. Sorry guys.
I got the Corona Burger Combo (double). Nice burger comes with onion rings, bacon, avacado, cheese and fried eggs. I got a double so 2 patties instead of one. Kind of different looking old school dinner. Good prices and a variety of choice's on the menu. Pretty good burger spot downtown. Patties are not as thick as I'm used to. Good places though overall.
It has a 50's theme. It was just the two of us and the food was delicious. The right portion, taste, and price. I will definitely have this over and over again
Came here for lunch to sit at their counter and have their double burger. Taste exactly how a classic American burger should taste. The meat Patty was thick and juicy, lettuce was crisp, and the mustard was the right amount. The fries were great as well. Definitely worth eating.
