Went here for a restaurant week dinner with friends! The staff was excellent and sat us near each other even though we had two reservations. Our server also gave great recommendations. We all really enjoyed the food although a couple dishes were hit or miss for me. My favorites were the whitefish appetizer and the black truffle ravioli. Their playful desserts were awesome too. The space is small so you definitely need a reservation. It has a good vibe overall!
We had an absolutely phenomenal dinner at Daisies while in Chicago for the weekend. My girlfriend and I have smaller appetites so we got two of the pasta dishes to share, though our wonderful waiter did suggest getting 1.5-2 items per person as they are a more moderate size. We had the truffle ravioli and gnocchi. I’ll probably have dreams about the gnocchi, it was just that amazing. With farm-to-table food and home made pasta it was a delightful experience all around. I also had one of their cocktails (Traffic Light) and would recommend trying one of their many more interesting options! Cannot recommend this little place enough and the area was full of life in the evening with plenty to explore. We also really appreciated the built in tipping system and how respectful the restaurant treated all their staff. Kudos to them!
Genuinely one of my favorite restaurants in the city. They use seasonal ingredients and make everything in house, and the flavors reflect that effort. It can be hard to gauge how many plates are needed, staff seem to push for more than one per person but dishes all very in size, so it helps to verify with them if you ordered the correct amount of food. Wine selection is unique and pretty awesome, staff were trained up and are able to guide people to the right selection. There is a great patio out back that I wasn’t aware of during my visit. If the weather is good, it’s worth it to request.
Amazing pasta- everything was so fresh & flavorful. Excited to try more. The mushroom bolognese and the ravioli (made vegetarian) were both amazing. Had the chips & onion dip for an app, which was good but not something I would get again. Place is small so make reservations. Most things can be made vegetarian. Mandatory 25% tip but service is good.
This place is a pasta lover’s dream! I went here with a group of friends, so we were able to enjoy 2 appetizers, 4 pastas, and 2 desserts. Everything was so delicious. We had an amazing time enjoying all the food and drinks. We loved our server. She was so helpful throughout our meal. I can’t wait to come back here again.
Had a memorable meal here. We tucked into the five course vegetarian menu. It was amazing although a lot to get through!! A great place to book a table for a special occasion. We sat in the back patio.
This place! The food is just beyond. Since it’s a seasonal menu, you may not be able to have the same dishes we had, but just know anything you get will be phenomenal. While there, we had the pierogis, ravioli, and another pasta dish. All were excellent. The drinks were also top notch. I’m excited to return here and try their winter menu.
We sat at the bar and the staff was fantastic, they were very helpful and kind. The food was unbelievable. The Agnolotti with trout roe and beets was one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had. The cocktails were fantastic twists on old classics. If you're in Logan square, this is the place to go.
