Beautiful place. The staff were very attentive and informative with any questions we had. Starting out with the cocktails, delicious. Both were very different and very well balanced. The 4 course prix fixe filled us both and was just great. The star of the evening was the quail stuffed with fois Gras, just amazing.

In one word - Fantastic. We went to Daniel to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we couldn't have asked for a better place. The food, ambience and hospitality, all together make a visit to Daniel an experience worth remembering. We ordered the four course dinner for both of us and were pleasantly surprised by the care with which each dish was prepared and explained to us. The staff went above and beyond with a cake and other complimentary dishes. I would definitely recommend visiting Daniel for special occasions. If you're being served by Javier, then he will make your visit memorable with his conversations as well.

Great execution in every dish. The recent renovation enhanced the contemporary elegance of the dining room. I have been here a few times and is very satisfied with every visit. BTW they sometimes welcome family with (older) children too. Eg Easter

This restaurant is undoubtedly an amazing one! We came for my birthday and what an amazing experience, from start to finish everything was perfect. We were greeted and seated at the lobby entrance were we ordered a couple of cocktails before being escorted to our table. We did the four course prix fixe; every single course got better than the previous one as they arrive, exquisite food! The service was extraordinary, very professional; staff is knowledgeable, friendly, fast, and always ready to help.

I just came home from the restaurant. The food was excellent but you kinda expect that from a Michelin Star restaurant. What I didn’t expect was this: My friend made the reservation a while back and let the restaurant know that this was a birthday dinner. Sure enough, the restaurant called back for information about the name of the person celebrating birthday (my name). You’d think that since they called to ask for the name, they were gonna do something with it, like write “happy birthday Mike” or something on the desert, right? Nope. Nothing happened. At some point I saw a piece of desert with a candle ending up at a different table but I never got anything other than the regular desert that I ordered from the Father’s Day prix fixe menu. These places are all about the details but somehow they missed this one that kind of let me with a bitter aftertaste on this otherwise excellent evening. 4 stars, sadly.

The last time I was at Daniel it was before covid. There were inconsistencies in the food that bothered me. On this visit, post covid, Daniel was back. Everything was perfect. There were exciting tastes and presentations. The service was prompt, attentive, and knowledgeable. Not being able to complain about anything, let me mention the dinner. The meal started with three small canapés each made from celery. The most amazing was a celery puree drizzled with a spiced sauce that brought heat and danced on the taste buds. The first course was foie gras, locally sourced, perfectly flavored. The second was scallops done in a manner I have never tasted before. They seem to be layered on potatoes and covered with a green sauce. I wish I could be more specific but I don't remember how the menu described the dishes. The combination of flavors and consistencies of each dish was amazing. The main course was a rib eye of pork flavored with a bacon spiced sauce and it was superb. Finally there was a lemon tart desert beyond compare. Go to Daniel!

I must say that I went to Daniel a second time for my Birthday on April 15th and the service and the food was simply amazing! Absolutely 5 star quality from chef to the waiters. The only Negative thing I would say is that I made reservations at the top of the date list (a month ahead) and I actually requested a table in the center or another side of of the restaurant vs where my partner and I sat a year before at daniel for my Bday. I SPECIFICALLY told the person taking reservations to seat us in the center part of the restaurant to have a different experience. I requested this a month ahead so I'm guessing this could be accomplished, But it wasn't unfortunately because they sat us exactly in the same table area side of the restaurant we did last year for my Birthday. So my partner and I were questioning is there seating levels to this? Is there some hierarchy? Is it because we're an interracial LGBTQ couple? Is this the tourist side and think that we are tourists? Is it because we are not regulars? Is there an extra fee for certain areas of the restaurant? I must say the questioning was definitely part of our experience unfortunately this time around. Even though everything else was top notch. Hopefully if we come again we will have a table in a different section of thr restaurant.

Daniel is a great French style 2-Michelin starred restaurant in the city. We did the Prix Fixe menu which was pretty good value especially when you consider all the nice extra additions and the quality of the food and the entire place.
