Delicious, delicious, delicious and just delicious. Did I mention….delicious ?! The restaurant inhabited a great atmosphere but the music was horrible. It got better as the evening went on the music got better. They were so kind to bring delicious champagne and buckeye cake balls for my sisters birthday! I really appreciate that! We will return very soon!
Glows: Friendly service from the hostess to the server. The location is great with parking. The venue is gorgeous with picturesque windows. There were some menu items that are great such as the homemade biscuits. Grows: The prices are typical but the taste of the food did not raise my eye brows. It was fair. I would go back to try some additional items, but for the price it would have to be amazing. I would like to try the lunch and dinner options before I make a final decision on becoming a frequent patron.
Overall experience was good...not great. We had a reservation, arrived on time, but was not seated until 14 minutes after we arrived. We watched them seat other people immediately, but we had to wait. It was just 2 of us and we weren't given a reason as to why we had to wait except they were still getting the table ready. When we got to the table...it was nothing special about it. Just had the glasses and silverware on it. The food was pretty good and the servers were nice. My husband's food came out perfect but there were issues with mine. They did make it right by comping it so I don't have many complaints there. I also appreciated the fact that the staff wore masks, even though most appreciated to be vaccinated (they had buttons on that said they were). We would definitely go back because we really enjoyed the meal and the ambiance was nice.
Great atmosphere, food, and service!! I'd give them more stars if I could. My sister suggested the Caribbean mussels and they were so good my toes curled! I came back the very next day with my girlfriend and had the Nola oysters and grilled lamb chops and they were perfect!! Our server was excellent and the drinks were amazing. Even the water we started off with was good as if they seasoned the ice chips or something I dunno.. but everything is good, please try it!
The ambience is nice and intimate. The food is absolutely delicious! The pepper jelly that came with the biscuits just blew me away! However, service was definitely lacking. My guest and I sat at the bar so there should have been no reason that I found my water glass AND drink glass empty on numerous occasions. The bartender, as nice as he was, was spread too thin for his skill level. The floor manager should have picked up on this and been quicker to step in and help but he was a bit preoccupied with the single (not with a gentleman), attractive females around the place. Smh. Spots at the bar were left uncleaned for hours and our food came out...whenever. As stated, the food is amazing but, if you're in a rush, you might want to pass.
The service, food, and ambiance was top tier. The server went over the menu in detail and was so patient as I indecisively selected from all the great sounding options. The food came out rather quickly and was hot and soooo good. The ambiance was classy with great music. I’m definitely going back.
omgeeee!!! This place is a wonderful mix of sophistication and down home cookin’ All I can say is Amazing!! This was our first time here and he had the “Sunday Supper”. The ENTIRE experience was just absolutely impeccable … The ambiance was a such a vibe… The music was at just the right volume to carry a conversation but thoroughly enjoy… The pleasantries, which were constant and seemed genuine, began from before we even made it to the door and carried all the way through until our departure. The host was super sweet… friendly and helpful… Our server and server in training “The Daniels” were so very attentive and knowledgeable about every dish… We will most definitely be coming back for Sunday Brunch as well as another day to try the standard menu… This place very well may easily become our favorite spot!
The customer service, drinks, ambience, and oysters were great. HOWEVER the food tasted like they were afraid to season. The presentation of the food was great, the taste was bland all around. The ONLY food that was up to par was so the octopus, Nola oysters, and mashed potatoes. The steak started at $50, and I asked the waiter how it was prior to ordering because I love steak and expect quality, and he stated “they only serve the best.” I ordered the filet with high hopes (because it wasn’t a steakhouse) and a side of $20 Mac&cheese, only for it to taste like seared fillet and dry mac & cheese. I literally had to sprinkle salt and pepper on top of the Mac and cheese for flavor. The steak I refused to eat and ordered another round of Nola oysters. The waiter was very accommodating and understanding, but I would NOT recommend coming here if you want to enjoy a meal. Drinks and appetizers definitely. We had a party of 14 the general consensus of everyone was that the food was severely under seasoned, but the environment and hospitality was great.
