Cosmopolitan hub for New American fare. Stylish space emphasizing refined spins on steak, seafood & pastas portioned for theater-goers.
Pretty view and nice ambiance overall. Our server was very nice when we went, maybe a bit pushy for a big tip but he was great otherwise. The food was good, but the tres leches cake was the star of the show!!! The bar made great drinks as well. The food was spendy but not too overly priced, but do be aware they are smaller portions. Which makes sense since you are likely going to a show afterwards, so to go boxes don't make sense. Would recommend as a nice pre show experience.
The Menu was very bare. Most people got the same meal over and over again. This place is not kids friendly whatsoever. They have a burger and fries and that’s the most kid friendly the place will ever be. They try to hard to sound exotic but on their shrimp pasta they added butternut squash sauce?? — i would be expecting alfredo sauce but who actually likes squash? And on their lobster mac and cheese there was way to much cheese and it tasted like velveeta. there was barely any lobster which was very disappointing for my family. The staff was very nice. so the staff and service has to be the only good thing about this restaurant..
Horrible experience. My friend and I ordered the salmon, and after the order was placed, the waitress came back to the table and told us they only had one salmon left. She promised that we would get that one salmon, THEN came back to the table and stated that the salmon was given to someone else. I have NEVER experienced anything like this before in such a supposedly upscale restaurant. The broccoli tasted like they poured a box of salt on it. Asked for a medium steak and it came out medium rare. Drinks were good, which is why I gave the one star; however, I will NEVER eat at this establishment again. I do not recommend this place.
We waited 30 minutes until finally, one server acknowledged our presence, gave us water, and told our assigned server to take our order. The first thing she said was "sorry I didn't know this was my table". We ordered our drinks and told her we were ready to order the food. She ignored the last and went back with our drinks, my husband's glass was dirty, the food was ok but not to justify the price. the waitress never cleaned the empty dishes and we needed to ask two times for our check. I never felt so unwelcome in a restaurant before. I was really excited to come here before our show but the experience was really disappointing.
This restaurant is fabulous! Food was delicious ! We had the burgers and the pimento cheese dip and creme brulee for dessert. Best burger Ive had in a long time, pimento cheese was fresh and fluffy, and the creme brulee was divine. Our server was Beedie..im sure I spelled that incorrectly, but she was fabulous too...Because it is in a theater it it pricey but the servings were enormous!...You could definitely share a meal...the ambiance in the restaurant was wonderful. A definite treat ! Cant wait to go again!
One of the best experiences I have had. Not only the managers (Aja and Alonna) and hostesses (Jazmyn) are all sweet and started my experience off right. I got the pimento mix. I also got the crème brûlée, both were amazing and tasted fantastic. The crème brûlée had a nice coat of caramelized sugar that was not burnt. The pimento cheese was just as amazing. I’ll be back to take the next bites and take some pics for you all. I ate it all before taking pics so…
You really can't beat the convenience when seeing a show at the hobby center. It is however only open when the performance is in the main theater and not Zilkha Hall. Pricey but you're paying for convenience.
Being pregnant I didn't want to walk around between dinner and the show. The reservation was super easy and convenient. The service was excellent. Food was a solid B+. All in all a pretty good experience. They could definitely do a bit better with the prices they charge for their food though.
