Dicks Last Resort - San Antonio

Our waitress was honest when I asked about the food. I had checked out review photos and the Mac & cheese looked to be a bit dry. I asked our waitress and she said she preferred the mac & cheese but it was a little bit on the dryer side than the fettuccine Alfredo. So I stuck with the fettuccine Alfredo with blackened chicken and it was delicious! It was creamy and had lots of flavor with the sauce and blackened chicken. My husband had the ribs and wings and said they were really good. Beer prices are very high. The restrooms are located upstairs. The floor looks like it could use a deep cleaning. Fettuccine Alfredo with blackened chicken - Delicious Ribs and wings - really good Would go back.

Absolutely wonderful experience, my wife and I are on honeymoon in San Antonio and had the best time!! We laughed with our waiter, embraced the gimmick and had an awesome time!! The hats are fantastic Thoroughly enjoyed the food also.

Awesome time, love the atmosphere! We had dinner on the 2nd floor the staff is as funny as can be. I had the steak and it was delicious as was the 42 oz drink. We Will definitely be coming back on our next trip.

I can not express the level of fun we had at Dick’s! Literally the best time I have had in such a long time!! We went there for my oldest daughter’s 24th birthday and to say it was a blast is an understatement. I’m talking laughing until we couldn’t breathe! We told them it was my daughter’s birthday and boy did they do it up! They have a live band and the lead singer sang to my daughter and even incorporated her name in the song. I mean they are so rude in the nicest funniest way ever! I mean they are actually laughing too at how rude and funny they are. Our waitress Victoria was AMAZING!! She was so funny. The things they say have you dying laughing. But when she brought us our drinks and threw our straws at us and walked away we were laughing so hard. She turned back around and was laughing too! This place is funny and fun! The jokes are flowing all night! It’s such a chill environment! You get to know people around you too, because you want to see what their hats say. And no one knows what their hats say, they just slap a hat on you with something funny on it and everyone around you are laughing. We actually got to know the table next to us because they were celebrating a birthday that night as well and it was just a super fun experience! The food is NOT mediocre! The food is AMAZING!!!! Omg! We was there for the experience. Our first time there and didn’t know the food was going to be so amazing as well. You will not be disappointed and you will walk out of there with your cheeks and stomach hurting from laughing all night! Thank you so much for making our whole families night so much fun. We are all still talking about the experience still. If I could give y’all 10 stars I would!!!

We ordered the the Ducks Huge Wiener, quality was not good at all. We only took about 3 bites each. Our waitress was just to nice. Wasn’t much fun. The other waitresses did great and entertained us. Samantha was our server. Not to be hard on her just needs to be a tad more on the funny side. If the food quality isn’t good the experience needs to be!

This was a pretty funny experience! You were told ahead of time what dick’s is all about which is serving rude and with an attitude. They slid the menus at us and went through the specials and told us what was the best drinks and food on the menus then also gave us what was the cheapest in case we were broke then asked very rudely what we wanted and we couldn’t stop laughing to order. They were rude but extremely nice at the same time you could tell they were just playing the part. Even with regular restaurants I haven’t had such a good experience with a waiter. He brought us our drinks & appetizers & made us paper hats with funny quotes on them. Mine said “I thought Dick’s was a male strip club” & again I couldn’t stop laughing and wore the hat my entire time there. The nachos are delicious, just cheesy enough and loaded with shredded bbq brisket. We ordered some mac and cheese with chicken on top and that was delicious too. The meals were also made in a respectful time so we weren’t without food for that long. As we ate we enjoyed watching other waitresses make couples switch dates with other couples and made them converse and make new friends. Other waiters would frequently check on us and ask how the food was and if we wanted anything and also ask us questions about our experience. He made fun of us when we told him that my friend had never had nachos before and went into details about how you could live in Texas and never have nachos . Again the entire experience was one for the book. Eating good food and getting a comedy show is the best form of entertainment. I recommend this place if you’re on the river walk and just want to have a great time with your friends and strangers.

Fun place to visit with the family or friends. The concept of this particular spot is that you come here to be treated badly (in a fun way), they throw the menu to you, they make paper hats for everyone to use with funny phrases according to the age, etc... Food is a bit pricey but being right on the Riverwalk makes sense. I'm glad they added a Vegan Burger!! It was not the best I've tried but it was good tho, just make sure to skip the cheese (they might ask if you want cheese on it), other than that, there are a few other vegan options like green beans, french fries, etc... It's good to see that more restaurants are including vegan options on the menu.

Won't lie we waited more than 1 hour just because we need a little bit of space table for 7 adults who were deaf. T While we wait, we went to Fat Tuesday to grab some drinks and go back there and waits. Once finally we sit a good space table, we have an amazing waitress Alexa and the manager, who apologize for the delay and make sure we were okay. He made us laugh. Alexa tries to sign with us and is very patient with us. She took care of us and the foods was fast and we got good drinks. She learned more sign language. I ?? her !
