This place has a great vibe! Definitely worth checking out. They even had trivia while we were there. The food was good, not the best I’ve had but overall good. Mine wasn’t as warm/fresh as I would have hoped for but it was still decent. Overall I feel like the atmosphere it what makes this place, it was great weather, super cute, great company.

Wow, what an incredible opportunity to experience BBQ done like this... The establishment was clean and tidy.... They have covered, fan cooled seating. For fun they have a jumbo jenga set to pass the time.... The Customer Service is friendly and very knowledgeable when it comes time to assist in the decision making process. I got the "Burnt End Melt", may I say that the flavors of each ingredient form to provide an amazing mouthwatering meal. My co-eater, got the "Pulled Pork Sliders", again this choice is fantastic and the flavor is very satisfying to the palate! For sides, we got "Sharp Cheddar Mac" & "Cream Cheese Corn Bake". If you like Mac and Cheese, you'll love this.... Made with Sharp, it has that extra punch sharp offers. Now, I will warn you that the "Cream Cheese Corn Bake", will leave you wanting more and more with each bite. I know that I'd love to be able to have this as a side dish for the Thanksgiving supper! Enjoy your meal!

Randomly spotted this place during lunch.. Items on menu looked delicious. I ordered the turkey caprese. It was delicious, you can taste the smokeyness from that first bite. The sweet tea not too great, tasted old. Also has outside seating and good music ?. Pretty chill atmosphere. Will go back again.

Wish I would’ve read the reviews before I ordered. I was excited to try the eastside hot chicken. It was very greasy with no flavor. When I say greasy I mean the bread that came with it was soaked in orange grease! I actually squeezed it just to see how much would come out, so gross. As far as flavor goes I literally had to add hot sauce and salt just to get through a few bites. I ended up throwing it out entirely. I also ordered the burnt ends aside from also being super greasy that was the only decent flavored thing.

You can go to the Northside, or one of the more affluent sides of town, where some of the more trendy eateries make their home. And sure, the food is decent/safe, if that's all it takes to satisfy your palate. Or, you can shrug off any misconceptions you have about the east side of town and experience one of San Antonio's hidden gems. Dignowity meats is a humble little eatery that if you weren't looking for it, you'd drive right past it. Although you would be making a mistake by doing so. A friendly outdoor spot, with great beers on tap, and exceptional food coming out of the kitchen. If you're looking for a down-to-earth spot that is inviting, appetizing, as well as a chill spot to kick back and relax, then look no further. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Dignowity Meats is such an awesome spot on the East Side! Great sandwiches and beers! Ample parking and fun atmosphere. In the picture is the Burnt End Melt, the Crazy Clucker, Pasta Salad, and a Yellow Rose of Texas beer.

We are from out of town and were looking for a good authentic Texas bbq joint to try for lunch. After doing some google searches and reviews we came across this place and thought we’d give it a try. I ordered the burnt end melt, my wife had the pit beef sandwich. My burnt end sandwich was really good…I was impressed. My wife enjoyed hers as well. I had a bite of hers and it tasted ok to me but not quite as good as my own. My wife wanted some extra horseradish mayo to put on hers or to dip hers in. I went to the counter and asked the lady for a side of horseradish mayo and she quite rudely told me no. She said that it could only be put on a sandwich. I in turn said I can’t just get a little side container of it? And she told me no. I thought that was weird and a bit rude. How hard is it to put a little in a little Mac n cheese cup or some sort of container or plate? Oh well all and all a decent lunch experience.

The food was great... Until I found a hair woven into my brisket slider... ?? Before finding the hair the food was good, brisket had a nice char, the bun was well Toasted but the BBQ sauce was lacking. The San-anto was interesting, and no hair! So I'd order it again.
