It was a great experience. Went for a baseball tournament for my son that weekend and took my family. Arrived and was welcomed with a smile even after midnight. Room was clean. Took my kids to pool and everything was accessible like the towels. At later that day at the restaurant below was greeted by the waitress. Food was delicious. My kids enjoyed the pizza. Will come back as my son will have more tournaments in SA

It's not easy to find a good hotel but this hotel is truly amazing. The hotel is very clean and well managed. I think other hotels need to come here to learn how to manage a hotel. Rooms are clean, well maintained and quiet. Breakfast is yummy! We had such a lovely time! We will stay here again if in the area.

This is our favorite hotel!! It is so beautiful, clean, & the staff are exceptional!! We absolutely love their breakfast and the staff that serves breakfast. The front desk is always kind and welcoming! Housekeeping does an incredible job, our rooms are always clean. Literally, every single employee that you pass while on this gorgeous property, will greet you with a warm smile and some sort of kind greeting. They have entertainment in the evenings on the weekend. Their common areas are perfect for relaxing and enjoying quality time with friends or family. We have stayed her several times and haven’t had one complaint. No matter what brings us to San Antonio, we stay at this hotel. Regardless of how far we have to drive. Hands down the best hotel in San Antonio! Consistent, amazing service every time. You can tell that the staff takes pride in their work. You’ll also notice that other guests are also so friendly and everyone is enjoying their stay…. Families socialize and children play. I believe that has a lot to do with how wonderful this hotel is. I could go on and on!! Check it out for yourself! Sincerely, The Gonzalez Family (from Corpus Christi, Texas)

I don't think I will stay at this location again. Unfortunately, they allow their pets in every room on every floor. My stay over this weekend was greeted by a room with obvious signs of dog hair everywhere, stained sheets and pet smells. My room was changed however, it had a clogged shower, mold, and carpet stains everywhere (hopefully not from a dog). The only reason I did not rate a 1 star is because the service and amenities evened the playing field. Just remember at this location the rooms are yucky. Oh, I also contacted Hilton customer service number, I got an email that someone would get back with me in 3 days. We'll see how that goes. Overall I spent 500 on the room over weekend and 700 at the spa. I'd rather had stayed at a cheaper hotel and just came to the spa, since the room standard wasn't up to the price I paid.

Love this hotel. Everything from the slight upbeat feel of the place to the clean rooms that are comfortable. To the evening complimentary drinks to the complimentary breakfast which is amazing. Always greeted with a smile. We stay here often. Our home away from home.

When they have an event going on parking is a PITA. Also I've stayed in two different rooms at this hotel and both I've noticed the room thermostat is way off because you have to set the thermostat to approx 65° F to make the room really feel like 69° F. And the system is not consistent in maintaining the selected temperature causing noticable ups and downs in the temperature as it cycles on and off. You cannot select heat or cold as it only lets you select a temperature leaving heat and cold to the system to determine. This is likely not a good design. We need the ability to set it fixed to cold or heat so management I hope you can consider upgrading the thermostat to allow us more control. Beware some rooms literally have the view of a unsightly wall outside your window. IMO those rooms should be discounted it's caught us by surprise that we would have such a obstructed view of the outdoors because our window had a wall view only. Felt like I was living inside of a box or something while staying in this room. Super uncomfortable and depressing feeling. Such an expensive hotel they definitely should warm you about this first or make price adjustments on the affected rooms automatically. Also the stairs only discharge to the doors leaving no way to take the stairs to and from your room. Unfortunately you will have to get used to taking the elevator for all movements to and from your room. I hate elevators. :-( also the TV's are not smart so you cannot watch your steaming apps on them nor can you mirror cast your mobile device to the TV screen. I hated having only those boring traditional TV channels. Otherwise it's a good place to stay and the room with living room area was a comfortable size.
