Erics Restaurant

Eric's restaurant is located within UH Hilton, It's such a cool place. I can say they are very friendly and welcoming. One thing that stood out for me was that robot coming to deliver food ?. They have a bar there too where you can order your drinks, juice included.

Very disappointed that the menu was switched up and the shush kabobs were taken off. I understand you have stay with the seasons but to take off your ‘beat seller’? I was told by 2 different employees on two different visits that it was a best seller. Why take it off? Nothing else on the menu is nearly as interesting. I was planning on coming again next week but will pass.

Their cheesecake was so delicious that I forgot to take a pic before starting! 10/10 recommend ?

The setting was nice, but I paid $16 for two fish tacos (which were the worst fish tacos I've ever eaten), and the service was horrible. There was at least a 15-minute gap between the first plate in our part coming out and the last, the server didn't even apologize for this, and refused to split up our check.

The “Texas” Burger didn’t really live up to my expectations of being named after the 2nd largest state in the US (it was dry and the meat wasn’t very flavorful). The shoestring truffle fries were underwhelming as well. Overalls, a Miss in Food, but The server was friendly and under charged for 1 beer, so not a total bad experience. We still left a good tip. There are a limited number of options outside the fast food across the street at the student union for food if you are staying at the Hilton.

Good food, consistent and excellent service (except when the use the robot that's not ready for service). The temperature is a bit ? cold.

Awesome food! Great salmon and rib eye steak! The mango sorbet added a sweet flavor to dinner!

I ate here after working an 12 hour day. It was 40 minutes from close but it was just me. I ordered a burger med rare, without cheese due to a food sensitivity & sweet potato fries. I was delivered a well burger and was told 'sorry its over temperature' as the server dropped it off(but no offer to fix) and I had to wait for them to come back to tell them it had cheddar on it. They took it to the back and scraped off the cheddar for me. The fries were cold and regular not sweet potato but I was so hungry & didn't want to keep waiting. So I ate them and they were good. I brought these issues up and was told they were sorry but too over worked & was told how I could pay the bill. The server apologized again but said it wouldn't happen next time the cook just had too much to do. I might not be writing this if the burger had not been so over done and dry. All the other ingredients were good but the meat was not. For the price I could have had Uber Eats deliver.
