Far Bar

I'm amazed that such great place is so affordable!! I was expecting it to be more expensive but was pleasantly surprised when I saw the menu ?. Our server was awesome and checked on us a good amount of times, which made it easy to continue ordering new things ?. The serving size was way bigger than expected for the prices! The only thing I didn't like were the house whiskeys since they were a bit too smokey for my taste. The shot + beer was a good change since I ordered the Far and Further, which had Japanese whiskey and beer. I would come here all the time if I lived here for sure!!!!

Our server was attentive. The outside space was well lit and perfect. The yellow tail sashimi was amazing, we ordered two servings and the specialty beer from Japan is extensive. Ended up trying 3 we never had before. This whole area is great and you can spend day or night here with family. Check this one out.

First time here, Byron (hope I'm spelling that right) was awesome! Very attentive and helpful to our party when they needed drink recommendations. The food was fantastic, seriously, it was surprising! Prices were reasonable and frankly cheaper than some other places nearby, those wings, damn were they good, I recommend. I'd say if you want to stop by this location, try parking at Aiso parking garage if you're not looking to hunt for street parking, especially on a weekend night, nearly impossible! Great experience, great food, great service, will stop by again soon!

So the food was not great. It was mediocre. But the service was worse than the food. We got our drinks after we got our food, and our appetizer arrived after we were almost done with our entrees. Not once did the waiter come back and ask if we needed anything or ask how the food was. We only ate here because the Ramen place we wanted to eat at had a very long wait and it was raining. Stick with the burgers, the wings flavor profile was not great and the pork Ramen wasn't that good. The pork was very dry and all you could taste was pork, no other flavors and the egg was awful. My burger was very oily, but tasted decent with the gouda cheese.

Far Bar is really two bars. Literally. There’s the bar you see when you walk in, and then there’s the back bar and outdoor restaurant past the bathrooms. It’s like a hidden restaurant in a bar, but with really chill staff shared between them. Good times! Come!

I love the whole staff here, I’ve been coming here for about 10 years and I’ve yet to have a bad or even mild experience. The drinks are always of good quality, the food is always fun and consistent. The venue is even better, especially when the back bar is open. It feels extremely cozy. Highly recommend if you’re in the area, they even have screens and TVs to catch whatever game tickles your fancy.

A variety of Japanese whiskey and pretty tasty food. Has a very chill vibe to it ??

Far Bar exceeded my sushi expectations. My brother and I sat outside in a relaxing environment made to follow COVID-19 regulations. The vegetarian roll was fresh and packed to the limit. The shrimp tempura roll was crunchy and the flavor of shrimp was strong. But the nachos were my favorite, they had vegan chili and even more ingredients on top. I would highly recommend.
