Airy Italian eatery with thin-crust pies. Roomy spot for thin-crust pizza & Italian standards in a relaxed, brick-walled backdrop.
Cozy and quiet Italian with the best waitress in NYC. The 4 to 7 happy hour is the best ! 1 Drink 1 Free Pizza. After, you can walk to the Hudson river and enjoy the views with you full belly. Pizzas are delicious.
Went for the first time and had such a great experience. Our waiter was super attentive and very friendly. I'd go back just to be get his awesome service. We shared the small margherita pizza and it was plenty of food for two of us with drinks. The crust is nice and thin and the sauce was delicious. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed on a Thursday night. Will definitely be going back when I visit NYC again!
The food is good. All I had was a Italian sausage sandwich. It tasted okay but want' the best in the world. They serve salad instead of fries with it so it's healthy, but it is very filling. The acoustics in the place amplifies the voices. There was only one other group there, but it sounded like it was super full of people!
Pizza is so delicious!! I had several drinks during Happy Hour. Pizza was complimentary. Very friendly here. Fantastic service. Wonderful place. Atmosphere is so nice. Cozy. Great Tribeca location.
Delicious thin crust pizza at reasonable price plus classic Italian pasta dishes. Cozy neighborhood atmosphere. Great happy hour specials with amazing tap beer selections.
Pizza was really good. I had the meat pizza and the meat quality was good and so was the quantity. I would recommend the food. The service was lacking though. The server seemed to care more about their cell phone then swerving us, and was short when talking to us.
Nice quiet lunch at Girello, fast friendly service.
This is now my second time coming into this restaurant. The first time was pleasant, due to the food. Although not being given water with my meal, I ate my food and asked for a glass afterwards. 20% given, a goodbye, etc. Coming in the second time, I was told to try something else on the menu by my colleague, not knowing that it contained Pork. I am highly allergic, as well as being a born & raised vegetarian. The gentleman then retrieved the vegetarian version of my dish, as I was apologizing again for the inconvenience... He then proceeded to speak in a way that was offensive, quoting “when you eat at an Italian restaurant,..” as if I’ve never. Now, I’m not sure if it is because I look different than the usual guests that sit in this place, but taking time to sit down and eat lunch and have a relaxing afternoon is all that one can ask for, without being outed and being embarrassed. I will not give this place lower than 3 stars due to the fantastic food, but your team should really work on it’s customer service. I truly do not feel welcome here. Thanks for the food though.
