My husband and I having a weekend getaway in San Diego and just chose a random place that actually look good and Greystone sure not disappointed. Reservation would be recommended because we were there on Friday evening and they are quite busy. We got seated on the second floor which Michael was our server.Service is outstanding, nice, friendly and always make sure that we’re taking care of.Not Only our server though,All those staffs that brought our food are awesome also,Good job guys! Now the most important parts,Let’s talk about food. We got fried calamari and wedge salad that split in 2 small plates so we can shared. Both are awesome! Calamari was fresh and crispy the way I asked for and veggies in the wedge salad was so fresh and good amount of dressing on it. For our main course we got Tomahawk Steak which we add 4 scallops and the mushroom for the side dish.We asked for medium for our steak and we got medium (What else could you ask for from a steak place?! Which most of the time you did not get the right cook that you want but this place sure not disappointed.By the way,I add the peppercorn sauce on the side for our steak also and it’s good sauce.I like it. Just one thing though,If you wanna order Tomahawk,Make sure you are willing to wait because it’s take a long time to make.Take it slow with your starter would help. Are we coming back to this place?! Hell Yes Who wouldn’t!
Today we tried several dishes. Starting with the calamari to share. We had chosen elk, chicken, salmon and pasta. All is perfect made. The service is one step ahesd. Good selection of wines, beers, cocktails and soft drinks. The staff is always very helpful and friendly. I only can recommend this location. Prices are higher but its worth the food and service you get!
Had an amazing experience at Graystone. Took a large party out and had a set menu. From before I even sat down, I was impressed with Graystone. I booked a large party the day before and they accepted the booking on short notice. They even offered to print our company logos on the menu! The hostess and server were very helpful and attentive, even the manager came by to greet us and ask if everything went ok. For dinner we had a set menu... Started with Oysters on a half shell and Rockefeller style, both tasted great. Also had crab cakes which were very very good. My first couse was Asparagus Soup, didn't know how it would taste but I was surprised by how flavorful and balanced it was. Next I had the Bison Tenderloin which was amazing! It had great, deep flavor and went well with the sauce. I also tried the Miso salmon which tasted nice. Finally, the chocolate mousse cake was good. Overall we had a really great time and will definitely book this again when I'm in town. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was great. Thank you!!
Great bar, and atmosphere. Food is good but the service is top notch. Great for celebrating with family. Sides were delicious. Tomahawk needed a bit more flavor. Overall it was a great experience.
The Bartender name Christian E. was Awesome Sauce! Best Martini Drinks in San Diego. Very Knowledgeable about the menu! I love the Mac and Cheese, The Crab Cake was so delicious, and the New York Strip Steak was so tasty!
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner here. My friend rarely gets excited about food and he was in heaven with the ribeye. The sides were delicious. The whiskey drink is amazing. This was a perfect choice for a birthday dinner. We will definitely be back
Hosted our annual holiday dinner with friends here last week, decor was beautiful, service was friendly and attentive, food was awesome! Special shout out to Desirae who made us all feel welcome and knew when to recommend to be helpful and when to let our laughing and stories continue. We truly felt st home and will be back!
Beautiful restaurant. Super good happy hour prices. My steak wasn't cook per my request but it was delicious. I asked for medium on both. Clearly they're different. 4/5
