Guard and Grace

I had the best time taking myself out to this stunning steakhouse for happy hour. The atmosphere was casual while also very sophisticated. I really enjoyed the lounge area right next to the bar (happy hour prices are only at the bar and lounge seating). My servers (s/o to Joe and Will) were attentive and knowledgeable. My favorite was the brisket taco, I definitely recommend! I would love to come back with girlfriends or on a first date.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Excellent Beautiful and superb service and entrees! Stephen was our server and he was knowledgeable of the menu and everything. He took such great care of us that we felt at home! The floor manager Danielle came over introduced herself and brought us some delicious Expresso shots. Overall a wonderful EXPERIENCE!! WE CELEBRATED OUR 3 YEAR WEDDING ANNIVERSARY IN STYLE!

This was my 1st time visiting here. We had a group of 16 people and they were able to sit us all quickly and together. The wait staff was polite and let us know all the specials and off menu items they loved themselves and encouraged us to try. I got the 4oz steak medium. It came out more of a medium well but I'm not one to complain too much on that. They only have the entrees by themselves and all sides are sold separately and come in shareable portions. The steak was probably the best steak I have ever had in my life! I was sad ? when I was finished. I was confused by the blackened carrot on top. I was confused as to why it was burnt looking on the outside and when I cut into it. It was just as dark In the inside. Turns out these are called smoked carrots. They look weird but taste exactly like BBQ. I got the taste of smoked ribs but I was thinking I'm missing some BBQ sauce for this carrot! Haha! I also enjoyed the broccoli and potatoes. The potatoes had a kick to them but it was good flavor. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I will be back with my husband so he can enjoy this place also.

Enjoyed our reservation on a Saturday evening. Our experience was superb from beginning to end. This place allows you to enjoy dinner over drinks. We were sitting closer to the kitchen so it was a bit loud, but it wasn't terrible. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and all the employees work together there to ensure the guest has a great experience. The queso was perfectly seasoned. Brocolini spear was sauteed perfectly. The lobsters Mac n cheese could of had more seasoning, but my friend enjoyed the taste. Steaks were cooked to the right temperature and amazing. If you're on a date, you can even keep your mouth fresh with the complimentary mouthwash in the bathroom. I would visit again, Maybe for happy hour. You won't be disappointed!

Fabulous as it was before the pandemic. This was my third time here, all at lunch. There is care taken in all of the food and it is what I would consider a more elevated steak house. The other big names have nothing special going on anymore. Just having high quality meat is no longer all you need and G&G knows it. The flavors were great, the food is consistent, and the options are widely varied. Also it’s a cool place to eat and a very skilled wait staff. Good place to have a business meeting as well. The waiters/waitresses can tell when they should or should not interrupt.

Our experience here was simply divine! Robert, our server was so knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with! The ambience is serene and architecturally soothing to the senses. The red snapper, a special for the night was a brilliant amalgamation of Vietnamese and American- an ode to the wonder that is Houston- a mixture and a suspension at the same time! Our experience was wonderful, the food was delicious and I will highly recommend that you visit this place as soon as you can, otherwise you are missing out! We had our 5th anniversary at Guard and Grace and I would like to say that the experience at the restaurant was AMAZING. We booked for 7:30 pm and we arrived 45 minutes early and the staff was so kind to help us by accommodating us on a table. The food portions are big so we recommend to split the salad and If you want the main course too. The server was extremely knowledgeable of all the food and wine selections. All the staff was always smiling and the manager came to congratulate us for our anniversary. Superb service, nice atmosphere and restaurant. We had an anniversary dessert as a courtesy. Thank you to all the staff of Guard and Grace for making our day so special and memorable. We will be back soon.

My family said the $108.00 steak was tender and taste very good along with the very tender fish, I had grilled shrimp however the taste wasn’t worth the $6.00 each I paid. Over all I wasn’t wowed by the taste only the price. The waiter Mr. Robert was very nice. This was my experience and opinion. Enjoy your dining experience.
