Guido's is hiding on Santa Monica Blvd. near Bundy. I hope they're hiding to avoid some hip investor from coming in and turning the place into a hot new destination like Dear John's in Culver City because Guido's is authentic. You're stepping back in time with great ambiance, professional and well-dressed staff, and very good Italian food. The missing star is because the food is very good. It does not make the jump to exquisite or unique. It's great, don't get me wrong. I have eaten here three times so far and I just was there with a party of six and everyone enjoyed the meal and the service immensely. I think for all you'll experience, the price is reasonable too.

The food and the service at Guido's were outstanding! The food was so fresh and hot as it was brought to our table. The servers were amazing and were aware of our needs and were there well before we asked for our needs. John, the owner, was kind gracious and fun. The quality of this dining experience was 5 stars all around.

Great experience. Service was next to none. Order a drink, drink came quick. Order calamari, in like 5 minutes got calamari and it was awesome. Being Italian I don’t frequent Italian restaurants but after tasting the food I had to reprehend my mom.

Very authentic, very delicious. The veal was super tender and equally tasty. Parking is valet only and was a total pain in the butt. Tried to add it to the bill, but the server said I had to pay outside...but outside they had no way to take payment other than cash--so, back inside to charge the card. A real shame too, because it totally over shadowed an otherwise awesome experience.

There aren't many Italian restaurants that still hand make their pasta and this OG spot is one of em!! I had the fettuccine alfredo and wow was it melting in my mouth. The mozzarella was ridiculous fresh, we had the fried mozzarella and the Caprese and both were ahhhmazing. We dined indoors, the woodwork decor everywhere is beautiful, right down to the intricate wooden hearth around the huge fireplace. The outdoor patio is over the top beautiful and we can't wait to come back for more great eats!! Lovely old school delicious Italian restaurants are hard to come by. It was super fun to see all the famous people that have visited throughout time along the hallway walls too!

The entire dinning experience at Guido's is always top notch! Everyone from the parking valet to the maitre'd to the wine server to the waiter and the manager are all about excellent service, food and quality!

I had no idea Guido's was just down the street from the office. I certainly didn't know what to expect when I arrived. The restaurant is huge, which consists of both a large indoor and outdoor/patio dining area. It was too hot this particular evening to sit out. The restaurant has a very old feel to it. Total family owned, Italian family feel. It's quite dark inside. We arrived early, so we were seated in a booth right away. There was hardly a crowd yet, and this was a Tuesday evening. Fresh bread was brought to the table right away, which was delicious. Our party of 3 ate all of the bread, and we could have finished another basket. My main dish was the Linguini Alle Vongole (linguini and clams in white wine sauce). It was just the right amount of food for me, although I would have been happy with a bit more clams in my dish. We finished off with some dessert. We ordered 3 different items and shared them. The service was super friendly and fast. I'd totally come back to Guido's. In fact, I'm sure it will be very soon. I already told the office about it, and they're excited to try it too. Parking is valet only...It's $5, but its a bit ridiculous. They literally drive your vehicle 20 feet and park it in one of their spaces. Oh well....
