Korean BBQ restaurant with karaoke rooms. Buzzy hangout featuring Korean BBQ at table grills, plus colorfully lit karaoke rooms.
I love this place because it was so homey and cozy. I went all across the city to find the best Korean food on a food challenge cultural tour with some friends and this was definitely one of the best. It was just down to earth and home cooking. And the servers are very nice and attentive but didn’t feel overwhelming. Everything came out very quickly and there was a lot of variety but not too much that it felt overwhelming or that it would be maybe not up to par. Not to worry because everything that came out was absolutely delicious and we all had such a good time. I would come here again for sure. Highly recommend!
Amazing! Amazing! This is my to go Korean BBQ in Tribeca. I’ve been to this place so many times and the food is always great! I love the Korean family style of eating and the fact that the food is made while you watch. I recommend this restaurant.
While this is one of the few Korean restaurants in the Financial District, its quality is on par with the best Korean restaurants in K-town. They seem to specialize in KBBQ, but my friend and I explored some of their other offerings. We got the seafood pancake to start, and the wagyu kimchi fried rice and the hot stone bowl bulgogi bibimbap as mains. Everything was excellent. I've tried the seafood pancake at several Korean restaurants, and this was undoubtedly one of the best ones. The portion sizes were good and the price was pretty good value for Manhattan. I also loved their unique complimentary side dishes, which consisted of lettuce salad, kimchi, pickled onion, spicy broccoli, macaroni salad, and pickled jalapeño.
Nice, clean, new place and a friendly server. They have Korean barbecue but we tried bibimbap rice bowls and a seafood pancake, delicious food. I would recommend it. FYI The price is a bit high for the lunch menu.
Yummy kalbi tang and a good selection of appetizers. Seafood pancake is very doughy and not crunchy, even though it does have many ingredients in it. Not many good East Asian food available in Tribeca, so I’m glad @gunbaetribeca exists.
Great atmosphere and enjoyable experience. Service quick- in and out in an hour ordering and enjoying appetizers, entrees and drinks. Pros- wonderful banchan, I loved the house salad vinaigrette. The fried chicken is excellent. Cons- waygu beef kalbi small and bland, even the sesame sauce couldn't save it. Whoops- no need to order the fancy meat here. Bulgogi very mild flavored. And lastly- if you sit on the brick wall side bench it's so far from the table this meal will have you on the edge of your seat- literally! It wasn't comfortable so it's good the servers brought and cooked everything so fast. Also note: for party of two about 18% gratuity is automatically added. I would go again and skip the BBQ list and try a stew or bibimbop- and definitely the fried chicken again. ?
First time in a Corean restaurant and it was a really great Experience Very tasty food and a very nice staff . We had a tried their meet on a fire Experience, where they have baked a 28 days aged T bone steak just in front of our eyes and that has just made it even more special Very recommended !!!!
Service was great, private karaoke downstairs, soju pitcher was dangerous, the fried rice and kimchi was so good. The Wagyu and the bulgogi we're great aswell!
