HERE’S WHAT’S UP: EASTER SUNDAY

We started off with bread sticks and salad.
The Bread Sticks proposed to us, ” Will you make us in your kitchen?” we said, “yes!!!”
We really loved the salad dressing. It was light and a little tingly. For the first time, we were able to eat Croutons (the little brown crunchy cubes) with our salad. Satisfying!
Here is a very faint picture of baby girl and we at the restaurant. The lady on the left is our gorgeous sister-in-law. Hope you don’t mind seeing your pic here, Nata.
For a drink we were so confused by the many options that we just went for the first thing on the menu, Lavazza Espresso. We pictured it was going to be a huge cup of a brown chocolatey coffee-ish frothy mixture oozing with flavour. What greeted us was this tiny cup with a black bitter liquid. We felt like we were drinking, “contri medicine” at first but we grew to love it with every sip. That ‘love’ was really because we didn’t want money to waste. Lesson learnt. We had Lasagna Classico– it’s in the plate below in the pic. We totally loved it – it was cheesy and the tomato sauce was not acidic but plain to the taste. Above is Fried Shrimps which Mr N ordered.
Girl number 2 had spaghetti, tomato sauce and grilled chicken.
Girl number 1 had pasta, tomato sauce and shrimps with grapes on the side.
It was a lovely outing and it was nice for us to take a break from cooking.
Meanwhile, within the week, Mr. N walked in on baby girl and we totally knocked out on the couch. She was restless in the wee hours of the morning so we took her to the living room to play. He took a pic of us…
Lol. We really look weird when sleeping. In church we learnt that Jesus is our ultimate satisfaction. As humans, we keep seeking fulfillment in different things but there is a void in our hearts that only Jesus can fill. We just love everything Easter represents. Our Precious People, we've not posted a cooking video in a while and that’s because we're working on making our subsequent videos better.
