New Orleans-style food & rock music. Rock- & blues-themed chain with Southern dishes such as po' boys & jambalaya, plus live music.
Had a great visit tonight and enjoyed the food and music. Bar and wait staff were fantastic. Katie especially. It took a little while to get a table before ordering food, but staff took my details and I waited at the bar for a little while before someone found me and I was switched over to a nearby table. The Jambalaya was delicious with Shrimp and the Southern Side Salad with champagne vinigarette. All items on the menu sounded tempting! Great selection of drinks also.
What an experience! Live music front row, great food and amazing service. We made a reservation, but it wasn't that crowded. Would go again.
Great place, awesome music, delicious food, good cocktails. Not expensive. Definitely a must if you are around.
Venue-wise, it's a nice, intimate setting. Staff at the door was pleasant. Attended the Beach Bunny Q101 pop-up; Didn't order anything from the restaurant.
Food okay, drinks not great. The hostess tonight was not very friendly, maybe controlling the floor has gone to her head, we almost left because we couldn't have a booth, instead we were sat in the center of the restaurant. I understand that booths are for "larger parties" (her words), however there was not a line out the door, nor was there anyone waiting for a table, much less a booth. It was our first time trying House of Blues, but we will not return. I would like to give a special shout out to the Very hard working, friendly Guillermo who should be given a Huge raise.
Man the ten dollar cover was worth it. The live band was amazing and it wasn't to loud. Also the place is real casual so don't feel pressure to dress up. If u don't know where to stop in downtown the house of blues is a safe choice.
Great food and awesome live music! Tight security which is always appreciated. My company reserved the entire venue for our annual leadership conference and we had a blast!
Always an energizing experience with Howl at the Moon providing the lively entertainment. Blue Plate also provided tasty street style Asian baos and noodles. The HOB jambalaya had a good heat and spice. It had been before covid that I had an exciting experience at the House of Blues.
