Intimate nightspot with bottle service. This dark & intimate late-night lounge features banquette seating & bottle service with DJ tunes.
I took a friend here Friday night for the Asian fusion menu, the romantic vibe, the reported excellent service, and the location in bustling River North. We got all of that and more, with outstanding service from Ryan G, everything my friend and I wanted food and drink-wise, sexy hip-hop in the ambience, and seated by the tall windows so we could enjoy seeing the flow of people stream by. The bathroom is downstairs, past a seeming dance party area, and I loved the club bathroom feeling. We closed out the restaurant unwittingly, which may explain how I was able to get so much time at the bathroom mirror making funny faces. Excellent date spot, would highly recommend.
Booked on open table and said no patio seating but when we checked in they accommodated for a great brunch on a beautiful summer day. Bottomless mimosas seem a little pricey but the spiked coffee with donut was good. We had the burrito (it was good but a bit bland even though there were several ingredients) and chicken biscuit that was amazing. Super nice staff.
Fun environment. We had the Halibut tacos and the Filet Mignon tacos. Flavor and season was very good. They were delicious. The blueberry butter cake was fantastic. We really enjoyed our date night here. Peter, our server was super friendly and very attentive.
This was my second visit and bang-bang cauliflower does not disappoint! You must order this delectable appetizer on your next visit! Enjoyed the chicken tenders love how the fries are preseasoned.
Food was solid. The carrot cake was easily the best thing. The sandwich was decent and the fish tacos were good not great. Drinks were strong and service was good
Had a great server and atmosphere of the restaurant is good. Also has some good happy hour specials. I ordered the Mongolian Beef. It came out with so much oil it was pooped at the bottom of the meal. I had to send it back and get something else.
Went to Hub 51 because we were staying in the Marriott above the restaurant and although reviews were hit or miss we has a pleasant experience. The food was very good to excellent the only thing that was average was the egg roll. The pot stickers were excellent but watch the wasabi it brings the heat. The Mongolian beef was flavorful and delicious and the portion was huge. The vegetable fried rice was also just average definitely a little bland for my taste. The cornbread just WOW. Crushed it. Perfectly sweet and the butter was a nice touch. The sesame chicken was equally as good as the beef. I wish they would upgrade their wine selection. The Pinot was just terrible it tasted like a $12 bottle of wine and even with a restaurant obviously up charging for a profit $44 was absurd for such a poor tasting wine. The Rose` was better but not by much. I never have an issue paying for good to great wine but to put out $95 for 2 average to poor bottles that didn't add to the meal that's disappointing.
I was a bit skeptical of this place, but boy did it prove me wrong. The atmosphere was nice inside and the staff was fun. Their cocktails were tasty and the menu was just long enough to make good decisions. We started with the tempura cauliflower and the chicken spring rolls. The cauliflower was AMAZING. Something so simple, but really on point with taste. The sauce that is on top is definitely just mayo and some hot sauce but in the perfect ratio. We almost ordered a second round. The chicken rolls came with some of the spiciest mustard I've ever had and it was sooo good. My friend and I split the kale salad and burger. We asked for a pretzel bun and our other friend ended up with the pretzel bun on his sandwich. Unfortunate but the burger with blue cheese was really well cooked and quite delicious. This was a really unexpected pleasant surprise of a restaurant.
