Microbrews & comfort food classics. Regional brewpub chain dispensing housemade beers & elevated comfort food staples.
One of the best brewery in Philadelphia. We were the party of 6 and had a great time. Our server Brian was very welcoming and helped us in selecting drinks. Please do try tasters they were really good and also the fries and wings. We dint get the chance to order the main course since we were so full. Cocktails were little fruity sort of but if you like that kind of drinks then razz lemonade is for you. Overall great experience and would recommend this place to everyone.
My oldest daughter picked this as our lunch spot, she said it was a new addition to the downtown Philly scene. The in-house brewery section/area was super cool. The menu looked impressive enough. The place is pretty huge in the inside, it was crowded but not overly packed as there were ample open tables & high-tops. As far as service goes, it took a few minutes for our waitress to arrive to take our orders and when she arrived and before we started to shout out our selections, she stated she needed to tell us everything that they DID NOT have available as their truck did not arrive due to the observed holiday. It was a list of approximately 6 items and at least 2 of our options were on her short list, bummer. It took an even longer between appetizer arrival and main course arrival to the table, we were just about to inquire when she appeared with our orders. The calamari was my appetizer, it was tasty but not hot enough, it may have been waiting to be brought out. I had the salmon Caesar salad, and it was just okay. Salmon was cooked to perfection but had ZERO seasoning. I failed to ask about cheese type when ordering the salad as I prefer grated cheese in my salads as oppose to the powdered cheese crumbles. No one else complained about their dishes but they also weren't raving either. I feel like my experience could have been better so I'm willing to come back and try them another time. They definitely had tons of beers that they brew so maybe when I come back I'll try that experience.
Great experience overall. All 8 of us ordered different food, and everything was really good. Initially we took a couple of beer flights, and most of us settled on a couple of IPAs, while I chose Brambleberry - light and fruity farmhouse ale. My wife and I enjoyed mushroom soup and Moroccan salmon. We had to wait awhile for beer, although it was understandable considering it was Jan 1st, right after the Mummers show ended , and while Eagles game was going on TV - the restaurant was packed. Nevertheless the food was delivered quickly for all of us. Special thanks to Adam, our waiter - he was awesome.
Great place! All our food was great. The service was very good, as well. Adam was our server and he was awesome. We did a beer sampler and they were all good, usually I can find one not so great, but these were all good.
Food was Great! Me and My Woman Had Steak with a side of Potatoes ?. Drinks was Great, (I forget the name and brand ?) Daughter had, Pizza and Fries (Kids ??) Their Complementary Craft Beer was Awesome. ? I Honestly have a distaste towards Crafts.? Theirs though, was awesome.?? If I remember correctly, I believe it was a, Lemon and Blackberry (\ or cherry) Flavor. But it was PERFECTLY Balanced, at least for my Taste. I loved it! ????
My first time visiting Iron Hill Brew went great! I was greeted at the door by friendly hosts and seated right away. I ordered a beer flight to go with the fish tacos. I enjoyed both very much. My server was excellent! Loved the space and service I received ?
I really enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and the employees. Unfortunately we happen to go there the same weekend as a convention so they were out of a lot of foods but I did not hold that against them in this review. I don't usually leave reviews too much on bathrooms but theirs were exceptionally clean the only small thing I had any problem with was the wait after we ordered to get the food. it was a little extensive besides that everything was great and I would definitely go back on a non-convention day
Sam was my go-to authority for this restaurant experience. Sam’s recommendations were the only thing to hit my table. The mushroom and brie eggrolls are a mystery as to what happened to the brie? But the flavor was all there! Baja-Style Fish Tacos are yummy and you should try them. The Triple Chocolate Hill is way more dessert than any one person needs. I died after the first bite. ?…at least I had a salad! #LetsGuide Philadelphia foodies
