All-day New American eats & cocktails. New American & California classics with plant-based alternatives & a full bar.
Great place for brunch. They also have a decent happy hour. The inside has a nice home-like feel to it. They also have a great large patio. The patio is dog-friendly. The brunch is great. Decent portions too. The country fried steak is delicious. Can also recommend the chicken wings, loved the Thai flavor. No bottomless mimosas though. There's a small lot but it's valet only. You can also find street parking on Riverside but you'll probably have to walk a bit.
Stopped in today, January 1 to start the new year with a good brunch and it definitely lived up to that. I have driven by this location many times before, but this was my first time eating here. They have a lot of good options on the menu and it’s definitely more of a casual food plus bar vibe. It’s not a traditional Los Angeles diner, or a sit down restaurant. Our server was really polite and prompt, and we both enjoyed our meals. I chose the Short Rib Benedict and it was honestly great. A really healthy sized portion that I was barely able to finish. As always, I ordered coffee as well and they kept the refills coming, which I personally love. I would definitely recommend for a quick and casual breakfast or brunch. In the future I plan to come back to try lunch or dinner as well.
It’s a neighborhood restaurant that caters to the community. When it changed ownership from Home to Ivanhoe it suffered in quality for a while but whatever they did, quality has improved a lot & with hard working staff that’s not only efficient but personable. I guess that what makes it more appealing, the service first, food next! May they always be a pleasure able dining experience
First time here and it won't be the last. We tried coming last Sunday but it was closed. So when we saw that it was opened, we jumped at the chance and we're glad that we did! We sat in a booth in the spacious and airy patio with our dog. They brought water for Ollie and we ordered the Ivanhoe margarita, which was the BEST margarita that I've had in a LONG time. Darn near perfect. To eat, we ordered the calamari, garlic truffle fries and the short rib sandwich with a clam chowder. It was ALL delicious. At one point, I suffered the dilemma of choosing what to eat next. I literally had a calamari on my fork, a sandwich in my hand and thinking about the fries... no lie! Great place, gotta try it and you won't be disappointed. They also have a really nice bar, fully stocked to watch a game or two.
First time coming here for other than coffee. Their shrimp tacos with choice of side is very good. I'd just opt for slaw on side. Fries were crispy and fresh. Five star rating for good beer selection- they had Franciskaner beer on draft amongst other like space dust. Service is quick and efficient. Definitely a place for hangouts and large groups.
Must-visit restaurant! The food is amazing in its quality and price compared to the portion as well as service was excellent. All employees and owner are very friendly and nice. Menu option is various and have nice full bar. High recommended!
The Korean server/manager at the restaurant is phenomenal. The menu has various American and Mexican food. Any dish here is good! I definitely come back for this restaurant for the service and food. :)
Had the red chilaquiles with chorizo. Would be happy ordering this all the time, but french toast looked amazing. Waiter refilled my coffee constantly. The only issue is the unnecessary valet, have the 5$ cash on hand for it.
