J & I Cafe

Great little cafe with some really good food. As some other reviewers said you probably won’t get over the top customer service from the older gentleman working the counter but it’s just an old school place. Order, pay and be on your way. The food is amazing, fresh and homemade. I think for the size of the tacos and inexpensive price, this place really stands out. If you’re in the area looking for some good food definitely try it out. For covid measures they do require mask upon entry (signs at door) and they had hand sanitizer setup right by the front door.

Don't ever come to this restaurant if your have somewhere to be. They have no respect for anyone sitting down and eating In There establishment. I asked for lemonade. He brought me tea on his own. We sat for 15 min. Only to be told once we asked for our food to go that we would have to wait another 15 20 min because they were taking care of the people walking in for Togo orders. Not cool at all. We had our 2 yr old with us also. Not a good experience

Good tacos for a decent price. They were open very early. The salsa was spicy, in a good way.

Huevos rancheros were pretty dang good. Kitchen was fast and food was delicious.

No free food!!! That includes chips and salsa!!! I've been coming to this place for over 20 years yes ythere not too friendly at the door or the host their real blunt to be honest but the food is awesome the place is clean they get numerous 100% from the city they have a few blue plate Awards. Some people expect free stuff but nothing's free in the world this place I highly recommend I've been coming over 20 years and I still come here and I still tell my friends about it who it is always made fresh never disappointed

We have stopped by J & I cafe for both breakfast and lunch. The food was delicious, hubby really enjoyed the hot sauce.

The food has home made tortilla and the food was very good. Little restaurants and the food was hot and well prepared.
