Pared-back spot with Mexican quick bites. Family-owned restaurant slinging traditional tacos, taquitos & tortillas in a low-key space.
I remembered when they first opened and talked to a couple of the owners. It's a family own business, they just had opened before the pandemic. A couple of times came during the pandemic and their food quality was still the same and delicious. I came now and I'm happy to see this great tacos place still standing with their great quality of food. I have tried mostly everything from the menu and it's so delicious and you won't be disappointed. Their Rajasthan tacos are spicy but are really good. Their desserts is a MUST try. You can't leave this place without trying their desserts. There will be times I only stopped just to get dessert from this place.
My husband and I just had lunch here. It was fantastic. The place is simple and clean. Staff was very friendly and very quick. The food was amazing. I had a couple of beef tacos and rice and my husband had some of their Birria tacos that he allowed me to sample and it was all great! I told the gal who gathered our plates that there wasn't a single thing on my plate that I didn't love! (She knew it was our first time there) we have decided this is a new favorite spot for lunch.
This joint has super flavored meats and super hot salsas. Be weary if you don’t like heat! I love that there is a salsa bar available for you to pick out your salsas. My only reasoning for a 4 star is that the menu is written so tiny that it gave me a headache trying to read it and decide what I wanted. It was hard to distinguish the wording. Though the food made up for it! Very clean and inviting environment and the staff were all smiling and enthusiastic.
This was our first stop when we landed at Phoenix. Wow, I love me some tacos and Phoenix definitely has a lot to offer. Just Tacos and More was fantastic! You go there, order at the front, and they give you a number for your table, take a seat, and they'll bring the food to you. The people behind the counter was super nice and gave some recommendations. I went with: - Baja taco with grilled tilapia -- the baja taco includes cabbage, pico, chipotle salsa, avocado, and cilantro. I decided for my protein, to go with grilled tilapia. The tilapia was seasoned nicely... a little bit salty, but cooked perfectly. - Mango taco with fried tilapia -- similar to the baja taco, but with mango salsa. I have to say, I do enjoy the fried tilapia over grilled. The breading and seasoning was great. - Sea urban taco -- this taco had toasted cheese, bacon, avocado, blackened jalapenos (SUPER spicy), onions, cilantro, and. chipotle salsa. I had this with grilled shrimp This taco definitely packed some fire, but it was good! - Tequilla lime taco -- this taco had special tequilla lime seasoning (not enough tequilla ;-) ), cabbage, roasted corn (nice!), cilantro, onions, and habanero crunch. I also had this with grilled shrimp. Very tasty! Chips and queso -- nice little appetizer, the queso had bits of steak on it... interesting, but good too! This place also has a little salsa bar, where they have pickled carrots, onions, and jalapeño. Every time a place offers this specifically, its an automatic +1 in the star department for me. Phoenix has many taco joints to offer, but definitely check out Just Tacos and More!
clean, friendly, modern family run taco shop with one of the best chorchata I’ve had in forever (it’s not from a powder mix that’s for sure!). And, the AC is strong and cool! There are sufficient feedback on how awesome the tacos are so… enough said. A gem.
Delicious former Tacos! The chicken tacos with bacon were so flavorful. They give you such huge portions of fried fish with the taco Tuesday $2.50 each! I was very satisfied and full after two tacos. Will deffs be coming back
My girlfriend actually took me here and it did not disappoint. I had the chile relleno tacos with rice. That Rice was very delicious and the tacos were actually very delicious also. I also ordered the masa quesadilla with steak that was probably my favorite they have a large menu and their horchata was superb. I'm looking forward to trying more of their menu soon. I totally recommend you give them a try.
Unbelievable food. Had lunch here while I was in Phoenix on business. I had the al pastor urban tacos and the flavor combinations were amazing. In a city full of taco joints, this is a standout. Friendly, fast service, tasty salsa bar, and I spent like ten bucks. Definitely on my repeat visit list.
