First time having Afghan food and it was amazing! The portions were huge and all their dishes were top notch. We tried the lamb shank with the afghan rice; the lamb was so tender and fell off the bone, the rice was very unique with carrots and raisins. The mantoo is a dumpling with a meat filling and a meat sauce on top, it was savory and very delicious. Highly recommend this place!

After driving by this place for years I finally made a point to stop in and try. What I experienced was one of the best meals I've had in Phoenix. Flavorful, big portions, kind staff, and unique cuisine from a different part of the world right in our backyard. We will definitely be back to try more! Bravo!

When you are craving lots of food, bold flavors and new experiences go to Kyber Halal. We had the Chicken Biryani and Uzbek Pulao with a piece of garlic naan. I was blown away by the serving sizes!! You have to check them out!

A must visit place for delicious food. A decent sized place for dining, don’t need any reservations. What I ordered - 1. Chicken karahi ( if there are 2-3 people ordering, do order half size portion as it comes with a huge quantity, you won’t necessarily need the full size portion of the curry) the curry was phenomenal, very tasty. 2. The place offers only naan so had no option to order roti.

Being from the region it is very easy to differentiate between OK and the best food/hospitality, this place deserves more than 5 STAR (wish there was an option) the best Afghan and Pakistani Halal food and traditional hospitality comes with it in this place. I came from the airport just to eat here and do not regret the time and money I spent for this lunch.

We order Chicken Boti, Lamb Kabobs , Garlic Naan, Goat Curry , Veg Biryani , Eggplant . The Lamb Kabobs and Goat Curry were delicious. Highly recommended. All dishes are under seasoned but goes well with flavored yogurt and seasoning . Their Garlic naans are best in Arizona. Service is very slow. We asked 5 times to get water

We had a great experience. Very friendly people who are making food the right way. Visiting from Boston, we looked for a halal restaurant. Food was fresh and delicous. Naan was excellent, and a street food favorite, veggie samosa, was crisp and piping hot! Phoenix, you have a gem in the city!

It was my first visit but what a nice experience the food was amazing I ordered Kabob and for my daughter chicken also we got one Afghani Naan. Everything was cooked perfect The qty is more than enough for two people. The staff felt like family. They were so friendly and kept checking on us for any need. Definitely I will be going there again. Very clean and nice set up.
