Kismet Rotisserie

Love love love. The food is always comforting and fresh! The chicken soup is so good. It is lemony and has fresh dill and tons of big chunks of chicken. The schmaltzy potatoes are just amazing. So flavorful, a little bit crispy and really tender and fluffy inside. And they come with a wonderful garlicky dipping sauce. The tahini is also wonderful and great to get as an extra side to take home and use for your dishes at home. The smashed cucumbers are fantastic.

Came for lunch with a couple of friends, and we had a good time. I had the quarter chicken plate based on the recommendation from the staff. The plate has great sides, from hummus, pickled veggies to super juicy iceberg lettuce in tasty cream. The portion of the chicken is meager though.

Unfortunately, the sister restaurant doesn’t live up to the original. Quality control is really bad. Every sandwich is soaking wet with sauce and leaks either from holes in the pita or from overfilled ingredients. Chicken pitas are overflowing chicken and onions at the top and just vegetables and yogurt sauce at the bottom. You’re frankly better off going to Zankou’s. Veggie sandwiches/salads are better though.

Chicken: 10/10 Potatoes: 10/10 All the sides are amazing. Executed by hard working people and a very kind and fun staff. Kismet became very quick a staple, so as Kismet rotisserie. And that is only because they love what they do! Long live to kismet!

Kismet Rotisserie is a newly opened small restaurant on the corner of Hollywood blvd and Vermont ave. This place was used to be a taco joint place. Kismet R. primary food entree is their rorisserie chicken. This place is more of a quick grab lunch since its very small. Indoor space and seating is limited however they do have outdoor seats by the street sidewalk. Chicken was juicy, soft and flavorful to your palate. I had it to go since they have very very limited seats. They do have a wide selection of food and drinks on their menu. Staff was nice and competent. Prices were competitive and fair for the area. Overall, I had a good food and order experience.

The best chicken I have try is this amazing place. The pita bread with the hummus taste so delicious especially the pita warm oh my godness, and everything to go along with the food the fries, the vegetables, the yogurt makes everything even more delicious. The chicken has a flavor than no other chicken has. Is flavor is so amazing that you want to keep eating more and more. The staff is very friendly I really recommend this place.

I got the half chicken plate and it was delicious! Great assortment. The food is always comforting and filling.
