Late-night option for Japanese eats. Ramen & other Japanese comfort food are served at this basic spot, popular with late-night diners.
The Melon Soda was super tasty! Didn’t know what to expect at first but everything was so good! Lots of love for this place. The omelette with gravy and fried rice (that all the reviews were recommending) was so much better than I thought it would be. I didn’t think I would like it based on the pictures, but it’s much firmer texture than it looks. Great pairing I never would have tried normally. Plus it’s a huge helping, definitely could serve two. I couldn’t get a good picture of the robot waiter that they had, but it was so cute! Definitely worth the trip, and I’ll be back again next time I’m in little Tokyo.
Back when I used to work in Little Tokyo, I took notice of the restaurant’s window display that had a variety of authentic food I had yet to try. It greatly astounded my taste buds by the fresh quality of ingredients. Of course careful preparation by the staff. Whenever, I come and visit the area I make it my top and last stop to enjoy a perfect meal and rave about it with my friends.
This Japanese diner has in business forever, and I can see why! They have a very deep menu with Japanese and Asian-fusion dishes. Service is good and the booths are comfy and clean. The food is tasty and reasonably priced. Overall, this Little Tokyo mainstay is great for a quick lunch or a fun dinner!
It was really busy but the wait wasn’t long at all. You order and pay with the digital menu online so it’s really convenient. I highly recommend the happy hour! Really authentic flavors and if you’re craving Japanese comfort food, chances are they will have it on their menu. Delicious!
Great place to sit and eat at. The food is on the pricier side, especially if there’s no deal or special going on, but it is well worth the value. The staff are super nice and friendly, even if the food takes a bit of time to come out. Pictured below is the Chicken and Shrimp Curry, split in two. We were so hungry we ate it before remembering to take a picture!
Great hole in the wall for high quality Japanese food. Amazing service with friendly and attentive staff. Definitely has a fan base as indicated by other reviews and the clientele that were inside the restaurant while I visited. Recommend the squid dishes ?
The food was delicious, well made, rightly seasoned and cooked. This place now has a robot helping service, but the waitresses are very kind and make you feel at home. The music is great too!
The service here is impeccable, food tasted good, and you can check out with Venmo! The Nikudango (meatballs) was really yummy, with slightly crispier out layer and very soft inside. Yakisoba was okay, a bit too oily for me.
