Order the kobe all you can eat 85 usd per person(they said it was weekend and everyone had to order same all you can eat) total 7 order all you eat kobe.. 5 adults and 2 kids with 1 order seafood extra at 14usd. Alot food but quality of the beef was average, seafood was not fresh. First time and last time.

Warning: Save yourself the time, hunger, and money This place was so awful! Bad name to shabu shabu. Their “broth” consisted of just water and vegetables. The meat was awful. Customer service: 2/10 we were placed in a corner and barely seen. I attempted to ask them for a different broth but all they gave me was hot sauce. I hate to leave a bad review but it was so expensive for food that was not even eaten.

Had a huge craving for shabu shabu so I decided to hit up Kushi Shabu Restaurant in Little Tokyo DTLA. I’ve been before but it has been a really long time. There wasn’t much of a wait since I showed up exactly at 6pm, when they open. If you’re looking to indulge in shabu shabu gluttony, then Kushi is the place for you. They’re have all you can eat Shabu Shabu starting at $36.99. Since it’s been a while since I’ve had shabu shabu, I opted for the all you can eat. Their beef is ok. I actually enjoyed their pork more which is weird because I always go for the beef. Why the 3 stars? Well the service was a bit lacking when I went. I’d give them 4 stars for their all you can eat options but I was really disappointed with how I was served. I was seated right away, which was cool and I got my order of meat rather quickly but that was pretty much it. I didn’t get the condiments and seasoning that you would normally get at a shabu shabu restaurant like the green onions, goma, garlic etc. I had to repeated ask for it. The rice and vegetables didn’t come right away. I was halfway done with the serving of beef before I followed up about the rice and vegetables. The rice finally came but I had to ask again for the vegetables. I love meat and all but after a while you want some vegetables. So that was disappointing. Their ponzu and goma wasn’t the best but it got the job done. Would I go back, maybe.

I was amazed upon entering the restaurant, as if suddenly I set foot on a foreign land. The worn but not tired, rather graceful pieces of wooden furniture were companioned by various little souvenirs in such an arrangement that rendered the space neither austere nor compact. The beef was of high quality, and the noodles were unexpectedly good. Compared to other shabu restaurants I've visited, the veggies might not be the best of the kind, and the choice of sauces was on the side of being rather limited. In all, it was a nice dining experience, except that on Sunday noon only one person was on service duty, and however nice he was, it made one feel that he needed some help.

Came here after work with some coworkers and we had a craving for shabu shabu. We ordered a few plates of beef and pork for the shabu shabu plus the vegetables. I wanted to give more stars, but service was a bit lacking. They forgot our orders a few times and we didn't get certain items like desserts for all 3 of us, which comes with the meat and vegetables despite ordering extra plates later. Just felt very much like they were cheapening out on us as much as possible. Overall, it was alright, though I'm not super inclined to visit again

Absolutely love this place. Friendly staff, great meat and sauces, and amazing ambience. I live nearby so I eat here almost every week. 1 plate is enough to keep me content, but the AYCE option is available for those that want more.

Best Shabu house ever!!!! Heard they were opened now (July 3rd visit) so I went to dine in, outdoor seating, but it was a beautiful view!! Their beef Shabu is soooo delicious their peanut sauce is by far the best in Little Tokyo, I've been to others but they're all super diluted and/or they're all very, very watery. Paired with an glass of iced plum wine on a hot summer day it cannot get better than that...but it can. Their meals come in half or full to which you get veggies, rice, peanut sauce, choice of Shabu, DESSERT, miso soup and more for a really good price! Always, always going back and not to another one.
