David was an amazing server. He was prompt and always made our glasses were full. Service was perfectly timed. I didn't feel like I waited too long for food nor did I feel rushed to eat and get out. Exactly what you expect from a traditional Italian restaurant. Portions were large and family style. Thank you for creating such an amazing time in Little Italy. I cannot wait to come back!

From the stuff to the food this place is amazing! We got there without a reservation on a Saturday evening and were seated outside within probably 15-20 minutes. Customer service is great, everybody is so polite with a smile on their faces. The food was delicious. We got calamari as an appetizer, they came super quick and there were a lot for three people! The portions were humongous too! Couldn’t finish everything there, so had to take the leftovers home which I don’t mind at all. Our server packed everything for us. Amazing experience!

Absolutely amazing Italian food. Fresh, hot and quick. We got chicken parm for the ones who like the not too crazy and we also got Rigatoni Bolognese. They were both perfect. Sauces were very close to what I had when I went to Italy. Overall great food and quick service. No issues with our service. Overall they did an amazing job and also offered lunch special or just the normal plate. Lunch special was the perfect amount for us but the plate serving is huge.

A friend recommend this spot in Little Italy and we are so glad we made the time to visit. We visited during lunch time and it was awesome. The location, service and food gave us everything we expected. The lunch special prices was easy on the wallet and surprisingly adorable. If you visit NYC, this spot needs to be on your list of places to grab some authentic NYC Italian food.

Fantastic time with my friends there. Great clams, veal parmesan and many Peroni beers. Staff was fantastic...fun. My friend asked if they had espresso and the waiter jokingly busted his chop "hey...this IS little Italy!". Will be back...

First went to La Mela in 2018. Was so outstanding, every time I visited NYC I’d have to visit again. Now that I live here nothing has changed. Probably the best penne alla vodka I’ve ever had. It’s amazing and the service is so perfect. My waiter, the big bear guy is so funny and engaging without being on top of you. Darren with the sexy deep voice is great too. Highly recommend this place

I've been dining here since 1992. Discovered the place purely by accident, but was so impressed by the authentic Italian cuisine, I've been here on every subsequent trip to NYC. One on the best dining experiences you'll ever have. Highly recommend the Cinque Corsi Family Style dinner.

Had a great time here tonight! The food was fantastic and our server David was awesome! We waited a little bit for food because of a large party that was already there but had no issues it. I had Moscato, Spaghetti and meatballs, Tiramasu, and a cappuccino, we’re visiting from out of state or I would happily come back!
