Bakery for Latin American breads. Specialty bakery focusing on long-fermented Latin American breads, plus coffee & other light fare.
Food was very flavorful, coffee was usual. The pastries were beautiful, but the pastry section was not as bountiful as a place name the Panadería would be; little bakeries on the west and south side are more stocked. The staff is hit or miss when it comes to politeness. The place was very clean and has a variety of seating styles. Good place to stop and eat if you want a sit down, relaxing place versus going to The Rim.
This place was pretty nice. Personally I don't like sweet bread I'm more if a donut person. Yet I gave it a try on my treat. Was good but for me I'm not use to that sweet but it is good. Another thing I came in way to late my selection of sweet bread wasn't that much if a selection. But made the best of it with a Mexican Coca cola. Yes not a coffee person but the person whom I went with said it was good coffee and ok of a concha.. he ate it. so I'm assuming it was good. I would give this place a try again but a little earlier to see my selection/options of pastries and whatever they have to offer. Tho I liked the environment very nice and R.R very clean and staff was very hospitable. Thank you, maybe my next visit to S.A I'll come visit once more.
Stopped in for a coffee and pastry, the counter style service was good and fast. Pastries have fun takes on traditional Mexican pan dulce, like a croissant + concha = croncha. Coffee is really good and well priced. The pastries weren’t the best baked but we visited in the evening so maybe they’d been out a while. Either way great place to visit.
Great place. Pretty setting. Great food, excellent variety for Mexican pan dulce and dishes. Price is a little steep, but worth it. Good date spot! They even made a decent latte!
I've not had such good food as is prepared her - in quite some time. I got the Mexican Cuban Bowl, and she got the Al Pastor Bowl. There was enough for 2 meals for each of us, and we got the remainder in 'to go' boxes to finish later in the day. This was such a fresh and refreshing meal - we understand, now - why there was such a long line to get in on a Saturday morning.
This is where breakfast pig-out is worth every bite The bakery is perfect for all meals of the day. Food is delicious, restaurant is tidy, well it does get crowded at times. The “El Buenos Diaz” is piled high with bacon, Turkey, egg white, avocado on 2 generous slices of sourdough then topped with spring mix. The “El Mexicano” is a crusty round croissant filled with egg, pepper, onion and tomato. There is no way anyone leaves hungry. A wide selection of pastries and desserts-perfect anytime bite. Happy eating
Love this place!!! Definitely recommend it. Great staff. I was able to meet the owner and I can't brag enough!! Jose one of the owners was walking around greeting everyone and making sure we were all taken care of. The food was delicious the almond croissant is definitely my favorite so far, can't wait to go back.
One of my new favorite spots in SA! I’m from out of town and always make it a point to stop here when I’m in town. Drinks are so good. Food is always good and fresh! This place is a MUST! I’ve tried several different plates and they’ve all been good. I’ve also had several desserts and they’ve all been very good!
