Great atmosphere and delicious food! Grilled octopus and meatballs are my favorites. The drinks are tasty, also very strong! The lady who served us was nice and friendly. Everything was great. I like that they have seasonal menu and change their items often. They have open kitchen behind the dining area so you can see chefs prepare your food :-) One note is that the restaurant is inside a hotel, and need to cross the hallway to another bar behind for bathroom. Other than that, it’s a cute romantic place with good food.

Great casual lunch spot with a relaxing atmosphere. Was on my way to another restaurant but got drawn to this place after seeing a lot of seats on their patio. Even without a reservation, I was able to grab a large table on the patio right before their peak lunch time. As expected from a hotel restaurant, everything came with an impeccable presentation and the food was good overall. For the appetizer, I got the daily special steak tartare, and the horseradish sauce, caper garnish, and some potato crisps were nice. Meat quality wasn’t the best, but it was still a good pairing with the cocktail I ordered. The blackened scallops had an interesting interplay with the poached white asparagus and the green peas which really enhanced its flavor. Service was also great overall, and the servers were very attentive and helpful.

Quick service, a little annoying that they don’t even offer you tap you have to ask for it. Which feels off that they just want to charge you for still or sparkling water from a bottle. I went for brunch with a friend at 1pm and it was super popular for that and lunch so I’m glad we made a reservation. The food portions were large, and both of us enjoyed our dishes a lot. I wasn’t even able to finish my pancakes and ended up taking them home—I’d note that you should definitely know what a ricotta pancake is as the texture is different. To me it almost felt like I was eating Japanese cheesecake from Sunrise Mart. The drinks weren’t bad. The only thing I would really note is the bread appetizer to share has nuts which isn’t mentioned on the menu.

I hate to give 3 stars to this place given that the food was good. But they don't know how to make a latte which to me is not acceptable for an Italian place. The latte had zero froth and when I asked the service staff, they promptly got me another which also didn't have any froth and also didn't know what's a latte. The food was good and I would go there again for the food, not coffee. I had scrambled eggs which met the mark. The cauliflower side was well charred too

We’ve had a small holiday lunch from work with a couple executives and CEO, reservation was made for lunch at 2pm - only to let us know we can order until 2:30pm, because then they close the kitchen. Once we’ve ordered food and drinks, we were left with the feeling we need to hurry. I understand restaurant is about to switch from lunch to dinner, however too bad they allow reservations for lunch to be made around that time, only to rush the guests out .. not the best experience. Great food and drinks, the vibe at the restaurant was nice, but it could have been nicer. Thank you guys at L’Amico ??

Pleasant ambiance, open kitchen, friendly & accommodating staff, delicious food. The place was full, we had a concert to go to and told her that we need it to leave at 6:45, we were done by 6:35. One set back, the scallops were a bit too salty for me & I don’t shy away from salt.

Great food. The sidewalk is a bit crowded and noisy on 6th ave but having outdoor seating is always a nice option. The quality of the ingredients really shows in the pizza and pasta. They offer more “conventional” American fare as well, definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.

This is an excellent restaurant, as part of a hotel, in the middle of midtown serving up delicious plates with excellent presentations. The pizza is absolutely incredible and on par with how some pizza is prepared in Italy. I recommend a visit if you're in the midtown area.
