* Food: The food here was immaculate. It’s a mixture of Vietnamese/ French cuisine. I would recommend the glaze pork rib it melts in your mouth. My partner and I ordered the duck and shaking beef and it was made perfectly. The sauce complimented the duck so well. I would highly recommend these three. * Place/Atmosphere: 10/10 would recommend this place for the ambiance it’s the perfect place for a girls night out or date. Also the bathrooms are nice and clean. * Service: The service was great and did an amazing job explaining the food.

I had an AMAZING experience at Le Colonial! Went in for lunch on a Friday and got seated immediately. Love the ambiance of the restaurant. Our server ROCKY was amazing! 10/10 service, extremely friendly, outgoing and every recommendation he gave was spot on! The perfect dining experience consist of 40% service and 60% food and Le Colonial earned a 100% perfect score. One of the best restaurants I’ve been to in River Oaks. Highly recommend you bring your out of town guest here for a dining experience to remember!

Everything was amazing! We had the shrimp/ pork egg rolls and dumplings to start with. Everyone loved the egg rolls and you can never go wrong with dumplings. The salmon was flavorful with the sauce and mushrooms. The vermicelli bowl is refreshing if you want something light. The seared yellowtail tuna was my favorite. After a few appatizer it was just the right amount of food needed without feeling too full.

Le Colonial is Houston's Famed Vietnamese Restaurant located in the upscale River Oaks District.  The 2-floors restaurant looks amazing inside-out, filled with some of the great interior designs with French decor influence. We were seated at the terrace area that overlooks the beautiful shopping plaza. What a beautiful private dining area, you felt like you have the whole space to you and your group. Cocktails and food are phenomenal here! A MUST VISIT! An unforgettable evening filled with laughter, good vibes with excellent service here at Le Colonial.

First time lunch at Le Colonial and it is a definite 'do again'! The restaurant has a welcoming and cozy, but fancy vibe. Indoor and outdoor seating and valet is available. It was very busy and reservations are probably a good idea. We feasted on the lunch prix fixe Fire Cracker Beef, Chicken Dumplings, Roasted Salmon, Shaking Beef, crispy brussels sprouts, and the signature fried rice. We ate the apps (firecracker beef and dumplings) so fast I did not get pics. When I asked our waitress if the shaking beef was a good choice she said 'amazing' and I am so glad I believed her. It was amazing! The salmon was also very good. I could have eaten the brussels sprouts as a meal. They were perfection. The dessert was spectacular, creme brulee is light and rich. Everything - food, service, setting - was well done and I am looking forward to taking some friends with me next time!

This place was amazing! The food, the service, and ambiance! Definitely one of my favorite places in Houston. The captain was so friendly and made our whole experience! 10/10 would recommend to everyone.

Le Colonial is a very nice Vietnamese high end restaurant chain with just a few locations a Cross the country. This is the 3rd one I’ve been to Ian’s I’m never disappointed in the experience. Each is unique and with beautiful decor. The SF restaurant is a classic and must see. This new restaurant in Houston is a great modern version. The food and service are both excellent with both traditional and modern menu choices and a unique cocktail and drink menu to explore. If you are a foodie and want to try something unique, I highly recommend Le Colonial.
