Great spot in the west village with a solid happy hour menu! $25 for pasta and a wine or any two appetizers is a great deal in this economy. Server was so kind and I really liked the overall vibe of the restaurant. Only negative for me to say was that the bolognese was super oily (see photo below). The flavor of the dish was great and I ate it all, but was left with an upset stomach because of all the oil. Would come back for the appetizer deal or even the burger which looked great! They also brought out a dessert for our friends birthday - one of the best chocolate mousses I’ve had!

An exceptional place to call my second home! Hard work & careful consideration is evident in every aspect here- the food, the drinks, the service and the atmosphere are all top notch. Go for the happy hour special & stay late for good conversations with great people (you can even bring your pup for outdoor dining!)

Manhattan has a flock of rotisserie birds but Left Bank’s Poulet is unparalleled! We love the ambiance of the restaurant but to get the bird and sides delivered fast, fresh and hot to our door is also a delight. A true neighborhood gem. Yum!

We were delighted to have experienced this evening meal at Left Bank. The owner- Michelin - made sure that guests were comfortable whilst New York was experiencing tremendous heat. The meal was amazing. The wine pairing with white pasta was spot on and the grilled trout was delicious. The slow roasted chicken was melt in your mouth delicious. The dessert flan had a glaze that was delicate and tasty and chocolate is always good! Get a reservation for sure as you want to make sure you enjoy a meal whilst visiting NYC!

Read some good reviews about LB and liked the look of the place and the menu. Unfortunately, things went downhill pretty quickly once we ordered: the iced tea was over brewed (undrinkable, we asked for something else and we're charged for both). We then had appetizers: mediocre Brussels sprouts-- v acidic but ok calamari. For entrees best dish was halibut (recommend) also had trout that was supposed to be whole fish but was not, and just meh. A side order of french fries was totally forgotten and brought after meal was finished, but we were charged for that too.

Love this place! Have been here multiple times over the years. I hosted my father’s surprise 70th birthday and came back to have my 30th birthday a few months later! Food is always delicious (cacio de pepe, steak frites and mussels are my fav!). Service is always on point. Danielle is very helpful when planning larger parties and Eli is the best server!

Good food and good atmosphere. We had the avocado and eggs on bread, the salmon and egg Benedict and the Dutch baby. The food was good. Better atmosphere and more enthusiastic customer service would take it from good to great

Great west village staple, the burger is delicious with all kinds of cheese on top, would be great to have some brioche options or maybe a pretzel bun as it come in a toasted sliced rustic bread (that is really good too!) I cannot stop eating their fries and the special dip sauce, they follow me in my dreams. The chocolate mousse is amongst the best in New York, drinks are perfectly done and the staff is the nicest lead by the amazing Danielle. Atmosfere is warm and welcoming, feels like a friend's house, great place for a date or dinner w the group. Definitely a go.
