Hip Italian dining. TriBeCa hot spot showcasing rustic Italian cuisine in a lively atmosphere.
Very tasty meal. The ricotta toast was the star of the show by far, incredibly good. It’s salty, creamy and doused in high quality olive oil served with crispy sourdough bread. Another favorite was the grandmas ravioli, super fresh and simple. The vibe of the restaurant was great, really dark and moody. Great meal overall.
Good service from the waiter, good pasta, but too expensive for what it is. Wine, burrata were ok, the salad too much acid, brocoli not good at all, dessert chocolate too much sugar we didn't taste the chocolate. Maybe next time it will be better but please review your price because there are better restaurant with better price. I don't recommend this restaurant if the quality of certain plates and price didn't change.
I went here for dinner, and it was terrific. The restaurant has a lovely interior and a lovely atmosphere. Service was slow, and they were kind enough to acknowledge it and provide a side on the house. Most places would have only apologized. The food was the star of the night. From the bread to ravioli, every dish I had was full of flavor. I highly recommend this gem.
Not a crowded area so, enjoyed my time at this place. The food was a mix, as some of our pastries were too sweet..so sweet that we could not eat them all. Meanwhile the pancakes were delish, except one of them had a bit of a chicken taste leftover. Guess the pancakes were cooked right next to the chicken?!?!?! I am a veggie person so, imagine my shock when I tasted the chicken flavor. Aside from that, this place was nice.
I was a little taken on the location and decor which usually leaves me to say too fancy for good food. I was wrong! Absolutely delicious. We had the sheep milk ricotta, lamb meatballs, lamb chops, and duck sausage orechetti! All was perfectly cooked. On top we don’t know Italian wines so the sommelier had to help us and he nailed it on the second try. He was real patient and took the time to listen to our horrible wine descriptions. All around perfect place to eat.
Came here for brunch and had a great time. Inside is really nice and staff was friendly. I got the Uova Modenese and it was fantastic. The hash and eggs were quality and delicious, I would recommend asking they lightly toast the bread, as I had to get a new batch as mine was hard as a rock. The Cinnamon roll is a must get for the price, the cream is fresh, hot, and delicious and was an amazing sweet to have along side my meal. Service was quick, in and out in 30 min during. Overall a great time and a solid recommendation to anyone!
We went here for an after work meal and the food and service were both amazing. I was hesitant about the outdoor table at first but the heat lamp overhead was very strong and kept us comfortable throughout. Everything from the cocktails, pasta, and entree were all delicious
Elevated, rustic American Italian cuisine with bustling, lively, but not overly crowded and noisy ambiance. Extensive Italian wine selection with detailed description for many and well curated food menu. Highly recommend the focaccia, ricotta, steak tartare and any pasta on the menu!
