Cozy eatery with regional Mexican fare. Casual, vibrant eatery serving regional Mexican cuisine & margaritas in a cozy setting with a patio.
Good service, very attentive and friendly. Food was fantastic! Shrimp Tacos were perfectly seasoned and not overcooked. Guacamole was a generous portion and fresh. Pork Pozole was a little salty for our taste, but could be simply from evaporation from the pot, otherwise it was delicious. There are a lot of Mexican restaurants in this area. I can't say if those are good or not but Los Sombreros was a great choice and I don't feel we will need to look around for another spot for Mexican food. This is going to be our go to spot when we're in town!
Great Mexican restaurant, it's located at a prime location so easy to get to. And the salsa is amazing it is nice and thick with lots of chili flavor. The food was also amazing here the only complaint would be it's a bit salty. Ratings Out of 5: Atmosphere: 4 Customer service: 5 Food: 4 Value: 4
The food is incredibly fresh and has a depth and brightness we rarely find when eating out, especially at this price point. Great vibe, friendly staff, good music, and ample parking to boot. Stop searching endless Google reviews and come here for dinner already!
We will return. The lovely outdoor patio with heaters kept us comfortable even on a chilly evening. Sitting under the tree is sometimes risky because of birds... but that's not the restaurant's fault. Our server was so helpful and friendly. He made good recommendations when asked and our food and cocktails were soooooo delicious, amazing mole pompano sauce.
This is a decent Mexican restaurant. The service was fantastic, the staff were super friendly, and the food came out really fast. The actual food tasted okay, it wasn't necessarily worth the money, but overall it is okay. But the chips and salsa were SO SO SO good!
Excellent food. Very nice atmosphere. No huge crowd so not a lot of people crawling all over you. Terrific patio. Highly recommend.
Really good authentic Mexican cuisine! I had the carnitas enchiladas. They were delightful! My wife had the steak soft tacos. She said they were super yummy. We liked the beans, felt they were better with food than alone. Have to say, neither of us cared for the rice, but I generally don't care for Spanish rice, so that may not be fair. The chips and salsa were excellent. I didn't order it or get a picture of it, but I saw another table get a 3 glass margarita platter in 3 different colors/ flavors. That looked fun and delicious! But had to drive back to Vegas after leaving, so I'll have to try that next time. They have a nice outdoor patio in the back for large parties or weekend nights at the bar area, picture attached.
Worth a stop just for the patio, chips and smoky salsa. The guacamole is tremendous. So are the margaritas. Great Mexican food in a wonderful setting.
