Italian & French Provençal dining. Offshoot of a longtime French restaurant with Italian & Provençal fare in stylish but casual digs.
Fantastic brunch experience. Well-made cocktails and delicious brunch plates. The famous Truffle Pizza is as good as advertised. The fried artichokes are great as well. The burrata was fairly standard, and the brussel sprouts were a little too sweet for my palate.
Great pizza and pasta - but the chicken dish was just awful. The potatoes were overdone and oily and the spice added to the vegetable was not cooked and had earthy flavour. Stick with pizza and pasta and you will have the best meal in NYC.
I highly recommend this place! The food is phenomenal. It’s pricey but it’s definitely worth it for such good food. The staff is also amazing they are so friendly and helpful. The place has such cute decor and is elegant.
The food was sooooooo good!!!! One of the best Italian restaurants in NYC! Got the truffle pasta and it just just like the one in Italy! This restaurant is very chic very clean and the service was on point! We’ll be back!
Had the best time at this restaurant. The staff were friendly, the food was fantastic and they were able to work with my dietary restrictions. Great for special occasions: anniversaries, birthdays, and date night. And I absolutely LOVED their bar marble countertop
We had heard a a lot about this restaurant and maybe we expected a lot, and it didn’t live up the hype. Definitely lots of awesome Italian food in the city! I have to say, nonetheless it’s still a fine meal. - 8/10 fried artichoke, cacio e Pepe- these were highly recommended. It’s yummy but also feels like it was trying too hard. - 8/10 - la nostra cacio e Pepe - the pasta was cooked well but I felt it lacked in the buttery sauce for my liking. A solid dish nonetheless. - 5/10 - I’m not sure why they have this pizza on the dish. It literally tasted like those pizza by the slice (which is still great, but not what I go to Italian restaurants for) -10/10 great crème brûlée with fresh berries! Finished it in less than 30s hehe!!
Phenomenal service and food. We had the truffle pizza (nothing short of amazing) and Bolognese - the pasta was so fresh and hand made. Cocktails were yummy, I had the Le Vie En Rose. The service was amazing from hostess to dining service. We did wait 30 mins for our table despite having reservations but the hospitality made up for it. Cozy & romantic fun for a date or group dinner.
The food was really good! If you like chocolate and ice cream, I recommend “My Son’s Sundae” for dessert. We shared the NY strip steak with sautéed potatoes because it was a lot of food for one person. I had the dolce vita cocktail, which was wonderful, and my boyfriend had white wine from Bordeaux. The service was 10 out of 10. The hostess and waiters were very polite and attentive. We enjoyed our dinner at Mamo and will be back again.
