One of the best Mexican food I ever had. The price is just right and the portion size was huge. The fish was fantastically cooked. Inside is juicy and outside is crisp. If I go to San Antonio again, I will definitely come back again.

My husband wanted to have a seafood soup on a Monday night, so we decided to have dinner at Mariscos El Marinero. He ordered the fish and shrimp soup and I ordered the whole fried tilapia. My husband is picky about the quality of his food, well this was a hit in his opinion. The soup had so much flavor and it wasn’t just shrimp and fish it had veggies too which was great. The fried tilapia was good too. Even on a Monday night this restaurant was full, it is a smaller restaurant but good food. We will definitely be returning to eat at Mariscos El Marinero.

The restaurant it was alright, not a family atmosphere, more like guys drinking after work, could pay a little more attention to cleanliness. The service, we got helped out by the only guy in the place (sorry forgot your name) he had a great attitude and was very cordial and had great recommendations. The food and drinks. The Micheladas (Marineras I believe they were called) are the MF bomb! Most definitely worth the price !! I had the huge seafood botana, I was amazed by the portions ! It was Great! Flavor wise it was really good too, would recommend serving the seafood just a little colder though, it was 105 degrees outside and the food didn’t feel as cold as it should. Would recommend checking the temperature on those fridges.

If you love Seafood this is the place for you. Good customer service and the food is very tasty. I especially love the fish / shrimp spicy soup. I gotta go back ?

Absolutely delicious. I had the super mix and the shrimp and beef fajitas. These were the most flavorful fajitas I've ever had. The atmosphere and music were also wonderful.

Had a wide variety of options on the menu. Food was delicious, however I did not like the “margarita” was more like a raspa. Tasted like it had no alcohol, just sugar and ice.

We wanted a local meal that we’d never tried before. What a gem in this neighborhood. My daughter said her ceviche was the best she ever had. I ordered a garlic shrimp dinner that had perfect flavors and ample quantities of shrimp! We also had wonderful oyster shooters (in a cucumber shot glass). Tasty and 100% edible! A mariachi band played for a bit, and they were fantastic but they were a wee bit loud as we placed our order. I highly recommend this place.

I had this ceviche with fish, shrimp, octopus, mango, pico de gallo, red onions, cucumbers and special sauces, it was delicious! They served a good amount of fresh tostadas and the michelada was sooo good as well. Good and fast service. Then I got surprised when this mariachi came in and started singing incredibly good. I had a great experience, for sure I’ll be back.
